Lovely well kept shorter course with tricks up it's greens
lovely shorter course always well maintained and with enough tricky layouts to challenge all but the best players
This is a pleasant Course Located in Northumberland County. The course has been kept in good condition and the staff and members are friendly.
I frequently pair up with a member and always enjoy my round. I play this course several times a season.
Small but awesome
Beautiful little course in amazing shape..players and personnel and friendly and a treat to chat with...course is quite a challenging little course with a couple very fun holes..golfed there many times and will continue to do so...thank you
Great people most accommodating of any of the local courses
Course dries early It is by no means a prof. course but is fun and cagey at least for a 90 year old (thats me)
I have used golf now mostly in US since inception. Great people i would join but don't play more than once weekly.
Great Course
I have played this course many times this past season as well as a few times in each of two or three previous years and am always amazed at the excellent condition of all areas of the course. The only minor criticism I have and it may be a misinterpretation on my part is that the speed of the greens does not seem to be constant ie: some greens considerably faster than others.
The course is of short yardage which makes it appealing to seniors like myself that have lost the ability to achieve the distance required to score well on a course of normal yardage. The shortness in yardage does not make the course much easier as many of the short holes require precise tee shots and good distance control to enable scoring well. It is also in my opinion interesting scenic and has many significant elevation changes which add to the challenge.
The staff are friendly and accommodating and they have all the amenities one could expect of a small country golf course.
I hope to enjoy many more enjoyable rounds at this course and oh yes the cost of playing is in my mind the best golf bargain in the area.

A great course to practice your short game.
The course layout is great and the scenery is superb. At par 65, this course is well worth playing for the long hitters who struggle with their short game.
Nice little executive course
We arrived early and were nicely greeted and told to go out and have fun and we did
This is a great little course that always plays well. The Laver's have done a wonderful job making and keeping this course fun to be at. The staff are always country friendly and the couse is well maintained.
Tricky and fun
Salt Creek is great for your short game; I call most of the holes "tricky and fun". Suits most levels of golfers and each should find holes his/her taste. You could walk but take the cart and relax.

We found this course great for the weekend golfer, we walked the course and were done in just over 2 1/2 hours, left the rest of the day to enjoy the family at the lake, not a real difficult course but definitely not easy, you have to know your clubs and hit fairly straight or you will get into trouble.
