If you know Texas summers it's best to play early. Checked in and got right out on time. The water line replacement is paying off. Fairways are green and with no rain for so long if you shot is from the rough expect a dust cloud. Greens are in good shape and will challenge you. Take plenty of water and enjoy the day.

If you know Texas in the summer early is better. Staff are friendly and surprisingly light traffic that day. Course will throw you some challenges. Risk reward, go for it or lay up. Being dry these days ball will roll into next week. If you have a chance e stop by and get in a round.

Been a while since my last visit. With the weather being what it has been. The storms had damaged several trees on the course. They have now been removed and allows new approaches to navigate the course. The greens are coming in nicely, true and smooth. Staff is great and very friendly. This is a very laid back course. Don't be surprised if the group in front allow you to play thru, might even offer you a beer on a warm day. If you find yourself in the area, stop in. You won't be disappointed.

The staff was super friendly and great to deal with. The pace of play was terrible due to several large groups of anywhere from 5-8 players on the course. As a single player for this round it was quite frustrating waiting between each shot. Course conditions were about what you’d expect for this time of year for a small town public course.

Greens were totally dead. No winter grass. Several greens seemed to be domed shaped. Fairways had very little grass of any type.

After we finished our "back' nine, we went back to the first hole to make a round of 18 holes only to find the locals had shown up on the first tee all at once. This stopped anyone from proceeding that was already on the course. There were about 15 to18 of them all bunched up. We were told that this happens every Sunday, weather permitting. No issues if this were an 18 hole course. But it is a 9 hole course.

Course was fun and not in bad shape for a small town course carts needed a good cleaning though.

I went into this golf course with an open mind and hoping to get 18 holes in. I was not warned until I walked up to the desk that literally the entire course was dug up for irrigation. How is this not brought up on any website? All of the grass was pretty much mud and impossible to hit solid contact consistently. The greens were also uneven and surrounded by literal piles of mud and dirt. I would definitely call ahead of time to ensure this is done, but it seems to be ridiculous to even allow people to golf here right now.

Considering the extremely hot weather and no rain the course was in decent condition. Fairways were a little dryer than normal but not many bal/thin spots and the greens were in good condition but were slow but receptive to approach shots. Overall a good experience.

Went for our first round of the spring. A nice little course to get warmed up on and great value. 9 hole course where we planned to play 18. First 9 was great, played in 1:15. Teeing off for the “back” 9, we got behind a few larger groups and wound up only playing 14 and calling it a day.

Staff was terrific.
