Copperas Hollow Country Club
About
Copperas Hollow is a semi-private, 9-hole country club that is known for being in excellent condition. The track features rolling terrain with pine trees that can alter shots, generally wide-open fairways, and small, well-manicured greens.
Holes 5-7 are tough enough to test the most experienced golfers. The 560-yard, par 5 No. 6 is sandwiched between what are listed as the two toughest holes on the course (the two longest par 4s, which play almost 400 yards).
This is a great place to play, but beware of larger than normal groups, as a marshal is rarely on the course and it is not unusual to see groups with as many as five or six golfers. The price is right and you can pay once and play all day.
Getting there : From Hwy. 36 west, turn right on County Road 316. Follow this road to the golf course, where you’ll see the entrance off Route 5.

Nice 9 hole course
The course is kept up pretty well and the greens are also pretty nice. Very good course for beginner golfer's, pretty simple layout with not much water or sand coming into play. Over all, a nice 9 hole course.
5somes and poor conditions
This is a 9 hole course. I had 2 5somes in front of me, which made it very slow. Making the turn to replay the nine holes, a new group tee’d off causing delays and confusion in who should go next. This made the back nine slower. I lost 4 balls just off the fairway, the rough just swallowed the ball. Not the best experience.
Great for the price
Booked a tee time for 18 holes for only $14/player. Course was in much better condition than when I played here the first time. Greens were in very good condition, and I was pleased with the course for such a low price. Not the fanciest course in the world, but a fun little place to play with a couple challenging holes.
Basic easy 9 hole
Very basic pasture course with a few hard dog legs, one water hazard, no sand at all. Greens were pretty spotty and slow, fairways in good shape. There are no cart paths on the fairway just around the tee and green. The club house is old and poorly kept.
Had a good time just not an upscale kind of course.
