Lots of character
Played a round earlier to preview the course before a charity tournament. Each hole is different. Not your wide open "let it rip" course. Lets you try different shots to approach each green.

The Course and The 19th Hole....Outstanding!!!
Worse course I ever played!
The staff was rude and they do not have a junior rate, made my 12 year old daughter pay the same rate as myself. I felt like I have been robbed after playing the first hole when I seen the condition of the course. You couldn't tell the fairway from the rough, weeds steming in the fairways and the greens are very small with an assortment of different grasses including crabgrass. One of the greens looked like fairway grass that was scalped! No way to putt! After 9 holes my daughter & I decided to see about getting a refund for the remaining 9 holes and they refused. This is the kind of management that is killing the game and why golf courses are going bankrupt!
Nice course!
This course I played several yrs ago and wasn't very impressed, but tried them again this year after they revamped their course. They dropped the rate to a respectable $25.00.with a cart. This course is now one of my faves. It doesn't feel like a pasture like Grayson, northern challenge, or tanglewood. There are elevations and depressions that really make you choose your club wisely. The afore mentioned courses require only that you know your distance with each club, but this one you need to take into account the elevation or lack there of for selection, which I like.
The front 9 is not good at all. You left to early though the back is beautiful. If you could just play back 9 twice it would be a good day.
