Heather Ridge Golf Course
About
The golf course at Heather Ridge provides not only a good game but also spectacular views overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The former private, 18-hole course is 6,106 yards at its longest tees and plays to a par of 70. Renowned golf course designer Richard Phelps designed the course, which opened in 1972. The small greens are undulating and extremely sloped. The course also features narrow fairways and water hazards. The most difficult hole on the Heather Ridge Golf Course is the 10th hole, which is a par-5 that covers 506 yards.

Golfer Reviews
Great Greens
For a shorter course, it made up for the firmness and trueness of the greens. Pace of play was right at 4:15 which is great for a public course on Friday with a tee time at 11am. Easily walkable and not overly challenging.
Winter golf at its best!
With all the dry conditions in the area, and with it being March, Heather Ridge has their course in outstanding shape. Played in less than 4 hours, with cart path only, so that's a plus as well.
Nice round on a great day
Course was in winter conditions but still good shape to play. The layout can be tight due to housing around some holes but was still a very enjoyable round. Plenty of challenges!
Great Time
The weather was great.. The course was in great shape. Good friends and good golf. If you haven't played here yet, you're in for a good time.
February golf
It's just amazing to be playing golf in Colorado in February. Great course. Friendly staff and one of the only courses in the metro that allows carts all be it cart path only.
Save your money
This course is fine for what it is, mostly a dog track. The pro-shop staff is the worst aspect and the customer service is atrocious. Won't offer a rain check for the back 9, even if you're unable to finish the round and haven't started the back. I usually play here once a week, but I think I'll definitely be finding a nicer course with more understanding employees.
Value
Great golf course and staff, one of the only courses in the area that allows carts, all be it cart path only Mondays thru Thurs the whole course on weekends. Great experience.
Making tee time
Could barely understand answering lady for tee time for reservation. She couldn’t answer questions about course. Never played there and should’ve just called clubhouse directly
Fun golf day
As always we had a great time playing Heather Ridge the staff are always friendly and helpful, the course is still in great shape and we played in less then 4 hours. Awesome expereince.
Warm up
It would be nice to be able to warm up on the driving range with your driver and woods. Maybe adding some nets so that people can hit driver would allow some of us to gauge how we’re hitting our long clubs to make those adjustments. Nets are inexpensive and if just one space with a time limit that would help a lot.
What condition in December!
This course is in fantastic shape all the time, but for December, it's unbelievable. Heather Ridge doesn't get the respect it deserves. There's more to golf than the length of a course and Heather Ridge hits all the other marks. Just a lot of fun to play, give it a try!!
For December, not bad..
Public course, pretty good shape for December to be honest. For $50 I got my money worth. Pace of play was a bit of a mess on the back, but other than that not really much to complain about here.
Good Day
Played this course for the second time, conditions were really good, greens were fast and smooth, traps could use more sand. Could not believe how playable course was, it’s middle of November in Colorado. Nice people, good value, tricky little layout. Fun course.
Course is great, app does not work with it
I booked an 8:15 tee time almost a week in advanced through this app, when I got to the corse they told me they didn’t have me on the tee sheet, apparently the app doesn’t work with their system so I would definitely not book the course through the app however it’s a great course!
