Emerald Greens Golf Club

About
The Golf Course at the Emerald Greens Golf Club is a nine-hole, par-3 course. Designed by Henry Hughes and opened in 1965, the course is affiliated with the retirement community Windsor Gardens, making it a semi-private. The course is suitable for all levels of golf, providing challenges that beginners can still handle while also serving as great practice for experienced golfers wanting to work on their short game. The greens are undulating and there are also bunkers. Emerald Greens Golf Club's fairways are wide open and water hazards come into play on over half of the course's holes. There is a heavy emphasis on shot accuracy since there are greenside sand bunkers.

A true gem
The course was a fun par 3 for my son and I after a long road trip. Fairly easy course, but a lot of fun. The course is in excellent condition. The grounds crew has done a tremendous job caring for every piece of the course from tee boxes to the greens. For $15, you can’t beat it. We played at 6pm and were finished by 7pm. Great after work wind down!
Sprinklers on greens during play?
Dodging sprinklers on the green while trying to putt had me flustered. They were watering the greens on 4 of the 9 at the hottest part of the day??? Wow. Also, very slow seniors all over this course...expected since it's a senior community. No golf range except a 2-person cage. No poker chips for sale in the store for collectors. Only bright spot id the quality of the food at the restaurant, ate the shrimp tacos. Won't be coming back.
Sprinklers running on green during play????
Not coming again. Had to dodge sprinklers on three greens while putting. Pace was really slow even though we had two juniors in our foursome.
Golf Course and Restaurant
I love the course and restaurant. My mom played there on a regular basis when she lived at Windsor Gardens. I see why!
good neighborhood course
a true executive course in that all holes are par 3s. could have used a bit more variation, but there are some water challenges, and at least one hole over 200 ft
Great value
The 9 hole pare 3 coarse is in excellent condition. Greens and fairways.
Only complaint was that there was so much goose poop. Other than that I love this course.
Emerald Greens is great!
I always enjoy playing at Emerald Greens. The course is almost always in good shape and the holes are a reasonable length except for #9 from the back tees. Prices are very reasonable for the high quality of the course. My most recent round there was a bit slow because a group of about 8 players. Not sure why that was allowed. That was the first time that had happened. I'll be back!
