The golf course at Heather Ridge provides not only a good game but also spectacular views overlooking the Rocky Mountains. The former private, 18-hole course is 6,106 yards at its longest tees and plays to a par of 70. Renowned golf course designer Richard Phelps designed the course, which opened in 1972. The small greens are undulating and extremely sloped. The course also features narrow fairways and water hazards. The most difficult hole on the Heather Ridge Golf Course is the 10th hole, which is a par-5 that covers 506 yards.

Solid for a cheap round in spring

SLOW

Ridiculously slow. No Marshall. At one point on par5 im on tee box waiting on guys in fairway waiting on guys who need to make approach shot waiting on guys on green. They use 4 minute tee times which is just packing people in. Very frustrating. Gave up and left. Value for money is poor with this pace.

Fun Course, Windy Day

Did not expect the wind to be as crazy as it was. Fortunately, this was just a pre-season warmup round. The course has it's challenges and it has plenty of options to score. We saw the beverage cart once on 18 holes of play. I would highly recommend bringing a cooler and stocking up on water and bevvys before the round. Pace of play is good. All of the staff are friendly and professional. The restaurant has good food for after the round and has been very busy the two times I have played here. I cannot wait for it to grow into spring/summer shape so the greens hold better.

Hard to complain getting out in February

When it gets above 60 in February in Colorado, you are happy to be able to play. The course was in as good as shape as it could be and better than I expected. The price was very fair. There were some groups in front of us that could have played faster but it didn’t affect our fun. We still finished in barely over 4 hours. All in all, just a good day and I will come back to play there again

We were lucky to be playing golf in February. The golf course was in not too bad a shape considering it was mid-February. Black nine was a little shorter than the front. Only a power 70 missing too far fives. I would go back again especially if it were summertime.
