It passed all expectations very enjoyable, round of golf

I’ve never in my life left a bad review for a course but what happened yesterday was a joke. Made a 1:22 tee time showed up 1:05 was told there were 3 people in front of me waiting on carts. I put my name and number on the list and at 1:49 I got a call telling me I would have the next cart. I asked if it was ready now he said no but I would have the next one so I said okay let me know. Sat for another 30-40 min and watched 2 groups of guys go in front of me AFTER I was told I had the next cart. Best part of it all? They literally never called me. Still waiting on that cart apparently?? This place is a joke I would not waste my time even trying to deal with it plus everyone in the parking lot putting clubs in their trucks were saying how bad of a course it was. Don’t waste your time.

My friends and I had a tee time at 8:02 on Aug 15th, but the pro shop didn’t even open so we could even check in until almost 8:15. We had to get the carts from the barn ourselves with a couple people behind us and we realized they hadn’t been refueled either with both carts being less than half full. The holes themselves were well kept but there were painted paths that they wanted us to follow to some of the holes but the paint was incredibly worn and hard to follow where to go. Overall good value for what we got but it was a hassle.

For a 9 hole course, reasonable rates and fun to play!

This was my first time playing golf here in Auburn. This course is absolutely beautiful! It is very well maintained. The lack of tee times is pretty inconvenient, but they allow you to walk the course if there aren’t any carts available when you walk up.

The course is actually pretty difficult. The 9 holes played pretty quickly and you could play them twice to get a full 18 in. The water hazards are tough to get around, but after a few times playing the course, I think they can be mastered. There aren’t many statistics online for the course so I’ll lay them out here.

For a 9 hole course excellent condition. Fairways was tight because they was on top of each other, but highly recommend if you’re in the area to play beautiful. Brought the granddaughter out to play for her very first time she loved it.

Kid friendly, nice layout green in fairways excellent condition. Busy granddaughter first time and loved it.

The fairways which makes it very dangerous for the novice golfers which that’s what you’re going to find on this course. Course play was very slow. Tee boxes are not great. And as much Ed before the fairways are very tight but not in a good way. The course holes are perpendicular which makes it ridiculously to navigate. There are signs not to ride on hills between greens but a push slight right or slight left it’s going towards another green. Long story short not a well designed golf course.

Really awful course. Dead tee boxes, patchy greens, just six kinds of terrible.

If this golf course bought 5 more golf carts it would be so much better. They have like 10 total carts and u will wait an hour for 1 cart when there is literally no one there.

Although I know the expectation of a course of this price is pretty low. This course needs a lot of improvement. First of all even with a tee time reservation there is constantly overlap with groups. By letting some groups walk while others ride on a 9 hole course makes pace of play horribly slow. The fairways are so close together that you’re constantly having groups drive through your fairway spending 20 minuets for the ball they sliced, no marshals are ever out controlling others from interrupting your game by riding their cart down the middle of your fairway searching for their ball. Not to mention you never know when you might catch a stray ball to the head from the group of frat boys next to you which makes up 98% of this courses client base. People also play the course multiple times and jump in right behind you after you tee off. Other than the lack of organization. The greens are horribly slow and it’s obvious they have never been rolled. The holes all have a raised rim around them which averts your put. The bunkers consist of mainly mud and rocks with a little bit of sand. For 25 bucks I would recommend playing 9 holes at Indian pines, not a 5 star course by any means but definitely better than this goat farm.
