Breakfast Hill Golf Club

Really slow play today…Did not see rangers on course…did see them around the cart barn area where they were helping people to start their rounds, which 9 to start on, etc. Needed rangers to prod and push a very slow foursome who did not know course rules very well. This occurred from about 11:30 when we started on the back nine to 1:51 when we finally made the turn and got up to the tenth tee. There was still a ‘gaggle’ of a foursome waiting to tee off. I turned around and cut my round short since it looked like another 20 minutes or so before we, just two of us, were going to be able to tee off.

My limited knowledge of golf says no round of 9 holes should take more than 2 hours, max!

Course is ok, but not worth the headache of dealing with the staff. Setting aside the elitist vibe, the pro shop attendant and starter would contradict each other and then accuse me of lying about what the other said. Multiple times. Life is too short to deal with that.

Great Autumn weather, excellent course conditions, greens were perfect,played in 4.5 hours. A bit slow on the front.

Breakfest Hill is a very nice course usually in good shape, not this time, Greens great!! pace was too, some areas were not very good around greens but overall would definitely come back, staff was super friendly, price decent would recommend.

Poor value, rude customer “service”. Beware of predatory policies. No rental clubs and rule against sharing clubs. Not informed until check in for the round.

The slower pace of play actually helped me think out and better coordinate my shots! The single walking in front of me was a very good golfer and showed great patience with the group ahead of him! He also showed a deliberateness that I tried to copy and it maid my whole round very enjoyable. (I actually shot 6 strokes better than my average for 9 holes!)

The course and conditions are beautiful. The staff is as friendly as could be. We love Breakfast Hill. Only negative, and it's happened almost every time we play there is the "members" think they are the rangers and take it upon themselves to police us guests. We played on a pouring wet day, cart-path only, in 4 hours and 20 minutes. We offered the 2-some behind us to play through twice. They declined both times.......then at the end when I complimented them for sticking it out during the total downpour, they said we played slow and could have played faster. Another time a presumed member yelled across the fairway that there was a hole open in front of us. Wasn't the case at all. It truly ruins the experience. We are not hackers, but rather 12-14 handicaps and are not slow. On the practice area, I often hear the "members" speaking negatively about the guests. Truly ruins all the good that the staff does.

Suggest golf course give out for free simple metal divot tools at counter.

I booked 18 holes with a cart for a 3:30 tee time through Golf Now. Person in the Pro Shop told me that i could only use the cart for 9 holes and walk the back 9. I told this person that i couldn't walk due to an injured foot as the person mentioned that the carts had to be back 4 hours before sunset which totally blew me away.

the kicker... was told by this person that i got a really good deal as a normal paid tee time for nine holes was more than what i paid for 18. I booked this through Golf Now to play 18 with a cart!!!

Golf Now should coordinate this issue with the Club.

I do have to say that Starter was a really nice person.
