Best Staff Ever!!!
We had 3 times booked for 10 golfers. Our American visitors cancelled due to the fact that it was pouring rain and about 8 degrees celsius. But the Canadians in the group were not about to let a little rain and cold prevent us from playing golf. It was cold. Very cold. At the turn, the staff made sure to turn on the heaters on the enclosed patio, brought us hot water in coffee cups so we could warm our hands, and even put our wet jackets into the dryer!!! We were the only people playing that day because the weather was so bad, but the clubhouse staff went above and beyond to make this a very memorable and enjoyable golf outing. We will be talking about this day for years to come. We will be back (hopefully with nicer weather). Our American friends thought we were crazy (we probably are), but we represented the True North, Strong and Free!!!
Great value golf course
Greens were excellent, fairways in good shape. The only negative was they could use a few more rakes as some traps has none. Golf ambassadors were very friendly and the restaurant served cold beer and a great club sandwich.
I’d change one thing
Grass was long on the tee boxes, but a lot better then the last time I played a few years ago
Weeds
I have never seen so many weeds on a golf course in my entire life. There also could have been more garbage cans and benches out on the course. Not a bad layout but it could use a lot more TLC to make it worth the while to go play again.
Course was in good shape, pace was a bit slow but that's golf right ?
Avoid Runway 9
Usually play Hanger and Hawks Nest which are comfortable for the average golfer. However, Runway is not golf cart friendly. Slows the pace of play and can be tiring.
