About
eQuinelle Golf Club is the centerpiece of eQuinelle Master-Planned Golf Course Community, an upscale residential community in Kemptville. It opened in 2009, making it one of Ottawa's newer courses but it quickly garnered a following as one of the best public golf courses in the area. The layout features massive, undulating greens and bent grass fairways that have subtle contours. Golfers will have to contend with many large, strategically positioned bunkers and some tricky natural fescue areas. There are five sets of diverse tees, giving golfers the ability to make the golf course as challenging as they want. eQuinelle's signature hole is the par-3 16th. This 170-yard hole plays over water to a very wide, contoured green that slopes severely to the right. Tall maples form a horseshoe around the green and there's also a pond to the right. Pin placement will play an important role on this tough hole.

Excellent as Always
We went off as a twosome which meant we waited a couple of minutes on each hole but that is to be expected. The course was in incredible condition especially when considering all the rain we've had this Spring. There was only one fairway where it was even remotely wet/muddy. The staff at eQuinelle were fantastic as always. My only wish (and this is my own fault for not eating before arriving) is that they served breakfast. Great course and I'll be back many times this Summer.
I find this to be one of the nicest courses in the City. Good layout, pretty holes, challenging. Can be beat, but can also jump up and knock you down sometimes. I really like this course.
Best Course in Eastern Ontario
I just love this course. The course conditions are amazing. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. This was our first time to eat lunch in the clubhouse restaurant and the food was fresh, hot and delicious. If you get the chance do play this course. You won't be disappointed.
Booked course on same day via a 'Hot Deal'. eQuinelle Golf Course was in great shape despite on and off rain. Twosome with cart was $92.00 CAD and included cart. Staff were great and option to demo new Titleist AP1 set. Highly recommended.
" A Gem in the Ottawa area "
Although, the Ottawa area has been deluged with what is known now as the 100 year flood .... many have lost homes ! It was cart paths only.... no accumulation on Fairways but moist & lush.
Three divots taken, no excessive moisture divots damp only, reason for Cart paths only !
As the words rang true of General Macarthur

Excellent course
This course is always in excellent condition. The greens are fast and fairways are cut fairly close. No real elevation changes, but there is good use of water and sand traps. Some of the holes have houses a bit close, which is unfortunate. The new clubhouse is really beautiful and the food is very good, although not cheap.
A favorite!!
I travel to Ottawa to visit family at least once every summer. I make it a point to come and play this course, it is an absolute must. The course is fair but challenging depending on the tees you pick.
The staff is always friendly and the course is in amazing shape. One of my favorites for sure.
Beautiful course
This was our first time playing the course. Unfortunately it torrential rained for most of the front nine,but the course was in great shape. We really enjoyed the back 9 as the rain held off. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were superb. Totally enjoyed our day.
Fun course to play
Very fast and challenging greens.
overpriced
It was busy on the course,and as 1 commenter said no marshall in sight.If I am paying that much there should be one out there to move things along.I don't see how they can say on their online booking 'SALE" save 2 per cent so instead of paying 82$ I paid 80$...woopty do! Many other super nice courses in the area without the snobbery that goes along with EQ
We regret to hear you did not see good value for the price playing at eQuinelle, we will address the labeling of the sale verbiage online. Must have been a peak time. We do hopet to see you back again and we will do what it takes to make sure you have the best round possible!
Great course but needs better Marshalling
Had two foursomes in front of us playing a two man scramble money game. They walked slow, played slow Their entire demeanour was slow. They saw us waiting and made no offer to let us play through. No Marshall on the course even though there were two gentlemen at the Starter's booth. We finally asked the Cart Girl to send a Marshal out but it was too late to accomplish anything when he showed up. Great course but needs some attention to details.

Best course I have ever played
I have been golfing for 15 years and I have golfed about 30 different courses and this course was the best. I love smugglers in Gan but this course was in better shape. If you can get a chance to golf this course for about $60 bucks I would recommend it.

Beautiful and well maintained fairways and greens
The course was very pretty and well laid out. I will always remember this course as I hit my first (and possibly last haha) hole-in-one on the 16th hole!

great course in fabulous condition
Another great time at Equinelle. condition of fairways was super. would like first hole to be 10th.. would making starting hole a little easier. Pace a bit slow ahead of us and we were walking. A most enjoyable day.

overpriced
This course has increased its green fees a lot since the opening of their fancy clubhouse,It is a nice course no doubt,but fairly slow play for the most part,but how they can justify an 80$ green fee is beyond me,yes there are cheaper rates but those are around 5 pm! EQ it gets dark at 730 now
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback as we appreciate customer input to help us gauge how we perform as golf provider. However, you have misrepresented our green fee prices. We did increase our base green fee prices by approximately 3% in 2016, which represented the first rate increase at eQuinelle since 2013. We never charge $80 for a green fee. You will find riding rates (green plus power cart) around $80 (before taxes) but our standard walking rate is $60 during the week and $70 on weekends and holidays. However, with our dynamic pricing approach, the average online rate golfers have paid to play at eQuinelle this year has been just under $50 (before taxes). In addition, we do provide reduced rates later in the day due to daylight and often you will find great deals on green fees by booking online via the tee sheet on our website. As the best conditioned course and best course (over $45 green fee) in the Ottawa as voted by our customers and golfers across the region for the last 6 years, we feel the rates charged at eQuinelle are fair and provide great value to our customers. Great course and has to be one of the best around
Great layout as usual, the course was in very good condition, great value on GN for sure. The clubhouse is great, makes this a must play course and worth the shortish drive from Ottawa or Brockville or the 401. It has matured nicely, my only negative was the almost 5 hour playing time.
