Tempest Golf Club

Besides it’s not being true spring yet the course was in pretty good shape. In another month then I’ll be able to make a educated review

Tempest has a long way to go but the constant improvements are adding up. We enjoyed the challenging layout as always.

Course has a nice and challenging layout. It’s been under construction for a while now but is getting better every month. However my last time playing we were behind a five-some of older guys and it took 3 hours to play 9 holes! Had to get a rain check or we wouldn’t have finished the back 9 before dark. Pace of play can ruin an evening of golf otherwise this course is pretty enjoyable

Played after a very hard rain storm so the course was very wet. Still a great day!

I’ve played tempest 5-6 times now, the layout is superb, practice areas are great and while there’s been clear attempts to repair certain issues in fairways there’s just too many bare spots and mangled areas to justify the price tag. Definitely could see it being 70-80 maybe during prime time but $100 isn’t right.

Hats off to the grounds crew. They’ve laid a ton of sod - the course is in great shape and will only get better.

The bar service was great at the turn. Good selection of drinks / would like to see more grab & go snacks.

A lot of repair work has been done on the fairway. It's going to be a great golf course in about two weeks

Wouldn't recommend course until they finish fairway reconstruction. several holes were closed/ par three due to the fairways down to rocky base material

Loved playing here! There were a couple holes under construction but the layout and conditions of every hole made it worth it! I’m sure those new fairways and holes are going to be amazing!

Do not spend your money several fairways closed My guess is it will take several months to a year to get the course into play able condition

Drove an hour & 1/2 to play 18 holes, booked 2 days prior with no mention of golf tournament or fairways under repair. That being said, played front 9 with 3 holes under repair. At turn grabbed a sandwich & drink, returned to course (after clearing it with the marshal) waited for group ahead of us to walk to the green, then proceeded to tee off, as the group ahead putted out. After we teed off, we were chaotically approached by the “course coordinator” & were told to pick up our balls to allow the group 2 holes behind us that were a part of the tournament to play through. After explaining to the “ course director” that we were cleared by the very nice Marshall to proceed he responded with follow me he doesn’t have the the authority to tell you to proceed because “I’m the course director.” So, we decided to leave the course, after only 9 holes, and the “course director” proceeded to be VERY rude (yelling) while we were loading up. I would rather spend my money at a putt putt than go to that course again.
