Poor course
The sand traps were terrible. Grass growing in them. Fairways. Grass in terrible condition. Greens were good.
Good golf course.
Fairway repair is required, but overall it is an excellent golf course.

Disappointment
I had read so much about this course I was thrilled to play it. In the last month I have played 3 local courses that were in better shape. I can tell it was once a grand place. It is not currently in that condition. Hopefully it recovers as I like the layout.

Greens are in great shape, for the most part.
Unfortunately, the greens are about the only thing that is in good shape (with the exception of 10 and a couple of the tiered greens). Fairways are about 50/50 dirt/grass and some tee boxes are just dirt. Pace of play was pretty terrible. We called the day before to see if we could run a 5some and were told no due to pace of play, which is fine. We get to the first for our 8:20 tee time and can see two 5somes already out ahead of us. We get to 13 and get approached by a Marshall to let us know we are 27 minutes behind pace. I said ya I know, it’s been pretty slow. He goes on to tell me he needs us to pick it up pretty aggressively and I asked him if I was supposed to hit down on the guys currently putting on the green we were waiting to hit into and he drove off and just kept saying ok. He had literally just driven past them. Really weird encounter, bad taste in our mouths and we won’t be coming back, especially not for $110. Sucks because it could be a top 10 public course in Texas again with the right resources.

Greens in excellent condition. Fairways are good as well but inconsistent. Challenging course for all players.

Greens need some work
I played this course two years ago, and fell in love with it, for the money we spent and the conditions of the course I could not have been more happy, played it this last weekend, and although the fairways were decent shape, everything else was definitely not worth the $110 we paid. Greens seem to be struggling, and there were several dead spots throughout the whole course on the greens.
We apologize that your recent experience didn't meet the exceptional standards of your previous visit. Thank you for your valuable feedback, as it helps us improve our course conditions and overall guest satisfaction. We have begun its Spring repairs which includes a new state of the art chemical program to improve turf quality and we have begun sodding several areas damaged during the winter. We hope to have the course back into pristine condition soon. Please come back and see us.

Beautiful layout
The coarse is young but has way to may unplayable areas. They have work to do to call themselves high end coarse!

It was a great layout. They are doing some work on it so several messes up places. Need to play it after the grass greens up.

Great course in poor condition
Fairways had too many bare spots, very sandy soil which is common for this area of Texas, and greens need help. Granted this course has been upgraded but it will probably be at least 3 years away from being a course that demands the price they charge. The potential for being a great course is there but not at this time. To get me to return would be a price that correlates to its current condition. Don't get me wrong because there are many courses that charge too much when condition of play is poor.

Winter Round
Course is not up to par, slowly going downhill last couple years. Its early Feb. so still recovering from harsh winter. Most tee boxes were just reseeded, sign of good things. Not sure fairways will get back to its glory days, Still one of the best tracks in the area
