Course overwhelmed with FEAR
Great course when owners aren’t overwhelmed win FEAR. Only course that is Cart Path only in 80 + temps and green holes are covered with metal barrier which turns half course into a croquet play. Complete ignorance, Won’t be back until the Left leave from Management!
A placement shot course with potentially tight fairways
Had a good round with absolutely no pressure on a beautiful day
Could be better
Tough winter possibly? Overgrown tee boxes. Patches of rocky dirt in fairways. Greens were ugly but they played great. I wouldn’t recommend unless you get a great deal .
Couse was closed, where do I get my refund?
I prepaid and the course was closed. I don't see any means to request my refund which is within the rules of the cancellation policy. If you have actual contact info for Golfnow, please pass it along.
Yes I tried using my mac not just my iPhone app
Waste of time and money
Terrible layout with multiple blind tee and fairway shots. Miss the fairway and you're in rocks and dirt. No GPS on cars. I can't imagine paying monthly dues to play here.
Tree lined course is a challenge for the weekend hacker
Lots of trees and water. Some very narrow fairways. It would be tougher to walk this course with the layout of of some tee box being far away from the last hole.
Good Value
The course is nice and feels like a great course, it's not too long, has lots of trouble (grass bunkers you do not want to find and lots of water) and postage stamp greens. The turf is ok, needs some weed treatment and the Greens are average for a public course. lunch at the turn is pretty good..Staff is very friendly and the carts are in good condition. Not really a walker for me because of the transition from 1-2 , 6-7, 11-12 and 17-18. Those are logish walks for this old man. Give this course a try. Enjoy the Game?
Conditions
You could tell the course does not invest the money it needs to in order to keep the course in shape. Even with all the rain the fairways were burned out and the greens were some of the worst I’ve ever played on. I don’t mind paying good money to play but this course is not worth the $40 that was spent. Chamberlyne CC in Danville, AR has very similar greens fees and
Ch. CC is in far better shape. I’ve played courses in over 25 states and this is one of the worst. Golf is golf and if your just looking to play then any course will do, but if your looking for a great course this isn’t it.
Great value
Greens have dead spots like a cheetah (hard winter and crap spring). For being saturated wet; it was mowed well. Bunkers are washed out. Very understandable. Golf shop guys are great. It’s a hard track from the back tees. Saw one other group all day. The course is only gonna get better. Hot deal makes it a fantastic value. .
Bad Greens
Awful greens. People skipping holes causing pace of play issues. Two bros in front of us playing awfully slow and guy behind us decides to skip us and join the slow group. Worth about 20 bucks anything more than that you should rethink
Course was soaked
This course is a great layout, but with all the rain lately it’s in pretty rough shape. No fault of the staff. This course is know for being pretty rough after a lot of rain.
Overpriced
There is a cramped feeling about the course which badly needed mowing. The greens had not recovered from a past vertical mowing and the bunkers only had rocks...literally, rocks that would destroy a club head. Very dissappointing because other Lindsey courses I've played were very nice.
Decent track
It's a pretty course, but not in good condition. I've lived here for the better part of a year, and the greens are always a little deceptive. The greens aren't quick and they're pretty hard, so spinning the ball doesn't give much of a reaction most of the time. The greens are also pretty small for the most part, and the par 5's are pushing 600 yards from the tips other than 9 and 18. Not a single fairway bunker on the course, but still demands well placed tee shots. The bunkers lack sand, its literally mostly rocks so I don't even play out of them unless I'm playing competitively. It's 40 dollars for a non member, which isn't that great of a deal.
