Great fall golf
Course was in great shape. No starter and the group in front took their time i.e. 5+ minutes looking for lost balls. Finished just shy of 5 hours, great course but need to move people along.
Nice Course
The course was very challenging and very well laid out and maintained. Friendly staff and very clean facilities. Great course for all skill levels.
First Time out for an old friend.
Brought friend out for his first outing. His game was a disaster, but the pace was excellent and we did not get held up. Course was in beautiful shape in spite of 2 weeks no rain. My favorite course, close by without the crowds in other counties.
Good value
Price is right and course was in pretty good condition except for a few tee boxes. God slower in the afternoon when the course was adding in the 9hole teams.
This course is a retiree in jeans kind of course. Most of the greens were really in great shape. Rough was rough! If you missed the fairway you had a 50/50 chance finding the ball. Because of that pace of play was not good. I will say there had been a good bit of rain prior. But man! Took away from our enjoyment. Staff was great! My putter head came off on 9.. they had it repaired for me by end of round. Also gave me a loner.
Overall good course
Layout was good. Tee boxes and greens could use some help.
Oakmont is a hidden gem!
Had a great time 2 days in a row! Staff members are always friendly and pleasant. Tee boxes do need a little sprucing up, but once in the fairways everything looks nicely manicured. The greens were being aerated but they were still receptive and not too many humpty dumpty putts. Give Oakmont a try! + a HUGE shoutout to Parker! Thanks for the great customer service!!!
