Excellent course
I haven’t played this course in a few years and I was very pleased with the course conditions, excellent friendly service in the pro shop, snack bar and cart return. I will be back soon!
Favorite Course
Landscaping has done a great job on this course, always planting and mowing without obstructing. Scheduled a tee time that ended up between 2 tournaments, still perfect spacing without much backup.
Great Shape but PLEASE Water Your Greens
I play the course a few times a year, in great shape for it's standards. But PLEASE for the love of Christ water your greens. Even lobbing wedges into the them, you'd think it was into a moonbounce. Would land it 5-10 feet short on almost every hole and it was 20 feet by. Which is fine if fairways are cut short enough to allow spin but that isn't the case on these fairways.
Hidden Gem in Carroll County
Nice well run, well kept golf course. Took grandson out for first golf outing. Pace of play was perfect even with an outing starting on back nine. Most days I can get a time with cart, or walk for some exercise. New asphalt cart paths. The staff really works to keep up with the course
SLOOOOOOOW
Took almost five hours to play our round, had to wait on every tee box for a long time, no marshall out to deal with the one slow group that messed up the whol course, I will not be going back, brutally slow and totally avoidable if you run your course right as a course owner.
Slow pace Tues morning
Had a senior league play early tues and Thurs that slowed us down. Course is getting better.
Golfnow fees
Be sure you check if there are "golfnow" fees when you reserve a teetime on line. Doesn't make sense, reserving online is easier for me and saves the golf course from an employee needing to answer the phone.
First Time Playing Not Too Bad
For our first time playing and considering it’s still winter it really wasn’t that bad. The biggest issue was the greens have not been mowed or rolled in a long time, most likely all winter, they were painfully slow. Liked seeing that they are working on having the cart paths paved. Hopefully they will have the entire course done. This will be a major improvement. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
