Bad day at Norman Links
(5-hour round of golf! No course marshals noted to keep pace of play up. A very hot humid and windy day. No courtesy vendor cart. However, this was a GolfNow booking so the price was made the round bearable. At retail this would have been a no go, with a refund requested.
Course is in bad shape
The course was in bad shape. They had back 9 was closed but not info about that. Then also water pumps all over the course moving to drain the course. Women in the pro staff was not very nice or personable. Groups playing in sixsomes.. just a bad experience all around.
Good public course
This course is fun to play but is pretty tight so you need to hit straight. It has a links feel with high rough, some uneven fairways and minimal trees. Worth a play
True links style course
This is a fun course but you better hit straight or you’ll be interfering with players on other holes.. Some nice challenging holes with some water hazards
Dangerous
Holes are too close together. My group had two balls hit into us on the 8th tee. One of which hit my friend in the head. Trip to ER ruins a round of golf pretty quick
Not for beginners. Too tight between holes
This course is hard. No for beginners. Too tight between holes and overall small golf course. If there is a beginner playing next to your hole, there is a high chance that you will be hit by a ball.
Fun place.
This a great little course. Well done and has some unique holes. They do a great job here and for a short course it has some challenges. Thanks to the staff, great golf experience.
Good course
It was a good course however had a challenge finding where a couple of the holes were located
Good shape with one exception.
The course was in good shape with one exception. The bunkers! If they had some additional sand in spots and had a good raking; it would help the overall condition of the course. Tees were cut nice and so was course. Some water in ball washers and new towels would also be good. The current towels were worn out. These couple of things would help the rating become higher.
