Nice small par 3 course.
Overall, nice little course. The check in desk requires your drivers license be held until round is over due to some goof-ball who wrecked a cart and left.
Other than that, I will play it again
Interesting concept, too many people
Popped in randomly to this little par-3 housing development course after finishing a business meeting in town - found a good price and knew I only had time for nine, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Unfortunately there was a group of 6-7 a couple holes ahead that made it impossible to keep any kind of pace. I left after playing 5, and spent more time standing at tee boxes than actually playing. Still, the course has an interesting concept (combines footgolf (soccer) with normal golf on the same holes), and the greens were well kept if a bit firm and fast.
Carts Dead
Live locally and have played often in the past.
The good: greens are superb now and overall
the course itself is nice.
The bad: Every cart owned by this facility has old dead batteries. (I’m in.a physical place where I can’t walk it).
Last time we needed 4 carts to play nine holes..
This time there were abandoned carts everywhere. Players pushing carts up hills. Simply ridiculous.
I want to support local courses. I know the gentleman that “owns” it. However, it’s time to decide whether he wants to have a working course or shut it down.
One last thing: Answer the phone please.
pretty good
greens were nice besides the grass around the cup was a little over grown
Great beginner course to get familiar with your clubs
The course for the most part is in decent condition. I have a few gripes, but for the price you can’t beat Cobble Stone Creek. The greens can be difficult and fast for beginners and a solid reminder to seasoned golfers to stay sharp even when it seems easy. The par three course is excellent practice to familiarize yourself with your irons and wedges. The bunkers are in rough shape and in desperate need of restoration (most have been lacking sand). The tee boxes are typically shredded with divots and need to have new sod put in. The carts are a 50/50 if the battery will last till hole 3. If there was a bit more of an investment from the higher ups this could be a real hidden gem! Definitely worth a round, or two!
Great par 3 nine hole course to ease me back into golf.
I haven’t been golfing in over 3 years and was looking for a short, inexpensive course to get back into the swing of things. This course was perfect for what I needed and surprised me with how many ways they could change up an all par 3 course. I’ll be sure to return again if I have a couple hours free to get in a round.
