Eagle Ridge Golf Club - Links Course
About
Eagle Ridge Golf Club offers three nine-hole courses: the Ridge, the Pines, and the Links. The Pines and the Ridge are the original layout at the club, built over a former sand and gravel quarry. The original designer was asked to create a third nine, the Links, on the adjacent property. The golf course has the same pinelands character that the original layout has but as its name would imply, the layout has a more traditional links-design that offers a different set of challenges from the other two courses. The rolling landscape has many elevation changes formed by a variety of bluffs, cliffs, and ridges. There are also strategically placed bunkers that come into play throughout. In addition to the 27 holes of championship golf, Eagle Ridge also offers a driving range and putting and chipping greens.

Excellent Fall Golf
Eagle Ridge was in excellent condition for a great Fall round of golf! The tee boxes were in the best condition I have seen this season. I like variety & have played 16 different courses this year. The fairways were plush & the greens rolled true. The Links nine has some spectacular views & offers some unique challenging holes. I would recommend any golfer to get in a round here before the east coast golf season ends.
Course in great shape! Fun layout and great pace of play.
Better than Working
I have always enjoyed Eagle Ridge. I like the layout, and conditions are usually very good. This round the greens are still recovering from aeration, which this is the time of year, so the greens were still bumpy and slower than usual. Putts did some bouncing on the way towards the hole, the Links greens were a little better.
One thing I did notice, all the flags were down on the practice range, and most ball washers if they had towels were torn rags of no use at all. End of season? or a sign of things to come with the sale of the property and plans to build useless condos where they are not needed?
Still I enjoy the course and would recommend it.
Poor putting conditions.
My disappointment with the course is twofold.
First Golfnow or Eagle Ridge should have posted that Aeration of the greens was just done. Greens were bumpy and sandy from Aeration.
At least tell the public that the greens are not ready for putting.prior to booking a tee time .
a great day to play
long par 5s and also long and short par 3s. Some narrow and some high to low and surprisingly some low to high greens. For sure not a walking course unless you are young and in tip top shape.
Always feel welcome
I couldn't make the round it was a first for my buddy's they loved it and will but this on our weekly schedule for the rest of this year Nd next
Nice surprise
We picked Eagle Ridge because it was on our way home and it was a pleasant surprise. Some challenging blind tee shots and more elevation changes than expected in this part of NJ. Course was in great shape, especially for a public course. Three 9’s so pace of play really moved. It’s about an hour drive for us but worth a return trip.
great place
Good conditions for end of season play. Too bad some golfers are lazy and dont repair divots on greens.. Shame Shame.
4.6 Handicap
Great course... played Ridge/Links 9s. Shot 37 on Ridge, 41 on Links, in my opinion links is the most difficult of the 3 9s. It will tempt you into hitting driver when you should probably hit a 4 iron. Love this place, will definitely be coming back.
Tough course
Don’t let the total yardage fool you. Relatively short course but you are punished if you go off the fairway. Thick rough and numerous deep sand traps make it a difficult course. Course was in beautiful shape, but the greens were a little beat up from unrepaired ball marks. Highly recommend the course.
