Eagle Ridge Golf Club - Links Course
About
Eagle Ridge Golf Club offers three nine-hole courses: the Ridge, the Pines, and the Links. The Pines and the Ridge are the original layout at the club, built over a former sand and gravel quarry. The original designer was asked to create a third nine, the Links, on the adjacent property. The golf course has the same pinelands character that the original layout has but as its name would imply, the layout has a more traditional links-design that offers a different set of challenges from the other two courses. The rolling landscape has many elevation changes formed by a variety of bluffs, cliffs, and ridges. There are also strategically placed bunkers that come into play throughout. In addition to the 27 holes of championship golf, Eagle Ridge also offers a driving range and putting and chipping greens.

Well worth the trip
Well worth the trip to come down from morris county, NJ on a day that there was snowcover everywhere north oF I-195. Played the two nines but not Pines, which was closed. I'd imagine pines is like the front 9 I played, but the other 9, Dunes, is a beast unbecoming of itself. Bring lots of balls for this 9. Some of the holes are borderline ridiculous how narrow the fairways are, blind shots, water, hills. but its something you wouldn't expect in plain old Lakewood. Heard from other comments this place may be closing for development, people need to get out and support this place if that is the case .I would've paid $50 for a day I played for nothing cause I had rewards points I used.
Sun Eagles
Course was in good condition considering the time of year
Cart path only rule is difficult to take particularly on the links course but understandable
Food service was extremely slow
Staff were very nice particularly the starter Jim Kay
Good Value in New Jersey
Drove from NYC to play 18 holes on a nice early Spring day. A bit delayed to tee off due to a frost delay, but with sun out and warmer temps we were't too upset. There are some impressive holes here that will challenge golfers to shape their shots. Nice views from the top once you are on top. With it being mid March the course was in the typical shape you would expect, but all in all in decent shape. We played the Pines and Links course. Our group really enjoyed the more challenging Link course and would definitely play here again.
Marathon man
This course is outstanding! Best layout in the shore area. The course is in excellent shape from tee to green. The staff is very nice and very accommodating. Couldn’t ask for more.
Marathon man
Great course. Pretty crowded, but to be expected when the temperature hits 60 in February! Best public course around.
Play it while you can
Eagle Ridge is an awesome 27 hole course and is fun and challenging at the same time. Lots of elevation changes and in great condition.
Too bad this course will be shut down to make way for high density housing and shopping center. If you never played here before, go there and play it before it goes away. It’s well worth it.
Frozen tundra
Even some frozen fairways, greens, and tees, this course rewarded the good shot. It was enjoyable to play here even in the cold. Greens were consistent, fairways very playable. I always love playing here
Great timing
Played on what turned out to be a great day. Had a starter with common sense. Since we were walking he let us out on the 9 that was closed to cart due to flooded cart paths. We had it to ourselves made the turn and played a peaceful back 9. Pays to play the few nice days of Jersey winters. Thank you smart starter
Nice layout
Can’t give a fair review the course was extremely wet due to all the recent rain in the area
