Eagle Ridge Golf Club - Links Course
About
Eagle Ridge Golf Club offers three nine-hole courses: the Ridge, the Pines, and the Links. The Pines and the Ridge are the original layout at the club, built over a former sand and gravel quarry. The original designer was asked to create a third nine, the Links, on the adjacent property. The golf course has the same pinelands character that the original layout has but as its name would imply, the layout has a more traditional links-design that offers a different set of challenges from the other two courses. The rolling landscape has many elevation changes formed by a variety of bluffs, cliffs, and ridges. There are also strategically placed bunkers that come into play throughout. In addition to the 27 holes of championship golf, Eagle Ridge also offers a driving range and putting and chipping greens.

Nice layout
Can’t give a fair review the course was extremely wet due to all the recent rain in the area
Best conditions around this area
Best conditions around this area. Was so pleasantly surprise that the greens that were aerated about three weeks ago were in very good condition. Course iis always in great shape and for this time of year that is awesome kudos to the greenskeeper and staff. if you get a chance go play this course at these reasonable prices
Best value for the dollar
Even when it’s the normal price of 80 or 85 a round, this place in my opinion is the best course in NJ. The pace of play is enforced when necessary. The fairways are like carpets, the greens are always smooth and clean. The links has an amazing view and plays well. The ridge is my favorite section of the course. The views are awesome, the game is awesome. When you can play Eagle ridge for 20bucks, you blow everything else off and play for 20 bucks.
Best course around
This is by far the best and my favorite course in the area and is well worth the money. I’d play here any time of the year for any amount of money
Good time, but........
Had a very nice time, even tho we didn't play too good. Course was in excellent condition. However, they were not allowing carts on the course itself, cart path only. That's why the course is in good shape but it made for a longer round and for the older members of our group it meant a lot of walking and hill climbing. Two of our group were visibly exhausted at the end of the round and played the last few hole poorly. We should have been warned of the limited use of the carts.
A must play
I had played this course a couple of years ago. It was very good then. They have new ownership now and they seem a lot more friendlier. When I played today, just got over a big rainstorm. But the cores drained well and the greens were still very fast. Fairways were magnificent I recommend this course all types of players . The gentleman named Tom setting you up in the cards was so nice and helpful kudos to him .ps make sure you take care of him he’s a great old guy .
Excellent course for the area
Got a good deal on Golf Now. Teed off at 8:10 AM there was an outing going off at 8:30. I played alone on the Pines and Links courses and finished in about three hours. The fairways were lush and I was able to take a lot of "bacon slice" divots. Greens had some crab grass but were true and I got good roll on my putts. Course could use better signage leading from one hole to the next as I made wrong turns a few times. It is a great course to play.
I like that there are 27 holes and each 9 is different
Very helpful staff, nice course. All-around good experience.
Pine to Links
Just not a big fan of this course, especially the links.
Too many blind shots and fairways with no carts allowed, not fun. Conditions were okay. Lots of ballmarks and unraked bunkers.
Not what it used to be, but still ok.
Some Tee boxes were chopped up but playable.
Fairways were in good condition
Bunkers were inconsistent. Some had 6 inches of sand others were bare bones.
Greens were inconsistent and much slower than they used to be. It was tough to get the ball to the hole or if you gave it extra, you blew the ball by.
They did a nice job clearing some brush and trees between holes.
The cartpaths has potholes and I spilled my
( $3 Gatorade. $4 with tip)
Overall Eagle Ridge is a fun course.
The staff is friendly.
As I left they were setting up for night golf. Looks like fun so maybe I’ll check that out in the future.
