Eagle Ridge Golf Club - Links Course
About
Eagle Ridge Golf Club offers three nine-hole courses: the Ridge, the Pines, and the Links. The Pines and the Ridge are the original layout at the club, built over a former sand and gravel quarry. The original designer was asked to create a third nine, the Links, on the adjacent property. The golf course has the same pinelands character that the original layout has but as its name would imply, the layout has a more traditional links-design that offers a different set of challenges from the other two courses. The rolling landscape has many elevation changes formed by a variety of bluffs, cliffs, and ridges. There are also strategically placed bunkers that come into play throughout. In addition to the 27 holes of championship golf, Eagle Ridge also offers a driving range and putting and chipping greens.

The reviews are true
Can't say enough good things about the course. When I read all of the raves, I was interested, but somewhat skeptical. Could it really be as good as everyone has said (in other words, are the reviews real or by insiders)? Bottom line is the reviews are accurate. My son and I played the white tees on the Ridge/Pines courses. Some short par 3's, but also a few long par 4's. The greens were very fast and several had multiple levels. Fairways are wide enough, but certainly not easy. The most amazing thing to me was the condition of the course. We played in mid-September when many courses, especially those open to the public, have been beaten up. While there were certainly ball marks on the greens and divots in the fairways that went unrepaired (what is wrong with people?) the overall condition of the course was remarkable. All of the employees were very friendly and helpful.
One note: we played on Sunday at 12:30 during football season. I guessed and the starter confirmed that it is usually much more crowded before FB starts.
I will definitely be back. The fee noted ($110) includes the cart. BTW, the USB charger ports in the cart actually worked!
Awesome
Beautiful and challenging course. Can’t wait to go back. One of my favorite courses in NJ

Course is in great shape. Pace of play was like we had our own private course. Greens are rolling true.
It was a great experience. Thank you.
Beautiful Terrain
First time playing this course. There are 27 holes. We played the Ridge and Links nines. Overall the course was in very good condition. My condition issues were: people not fixing ball marks on the greens and divots in the fairways, the bunkers around the greens need more sand and fewer stones, and one tee box was a little rough, but they were working on it. The layout is beautiful and it got pretty windy on the higher parts of the course. There are several holes on the nines we played where local knowledge is a real plus because the tee shots are partially or completely blind. A good GPS would have been helpful. Pace of play was great. Just under 4 hours with a foursome. The driving range is closed on Thursdays until 2pm and there are several holes that are cart path only.
Favorite course in area
As part of my annual vacation on LBI, I play a number of courses within an hour of the island. Although a bit far at >45 min, this is my favorite. Great variety of holes across the 3 nines.; lots of tee options; and excellent conditions. Lost several balls in fescue or trees,… so hit ‘em straight!
One of the best in NJ
Everything was great, except the crammed tee times. Ill come back as long as this course remains in this great design and condition. Underrated course.
Great layout and good course conditions. Not an easy course. Some elevation changes and some blind spots. The bunkers need some work add some sand and they need to clear out some of their "fescue". Your weeds" native grasses shouldn't make you shots blind shots..Bunkers are tough enough without having the native grass be an added impediment. Overall a great layout but bring your A game or a lot of balls.
Eagle Run
We played Pines and Links. Two different personalities on both courses. We liked both. The links was not that bad. I thought it was going to be very difficult. Overall it was a fun day. The staff was very nice. The only issue was there were only two lefty tee boxes and one had a broken tee. I just moved to the other tee box. The course was beautiful.
Bad experience due to weather
Staff was very unfriendly with options due to severe thunderstorms during the day. I was told I couldn’t get a rain check because I booked a “Hot Feal” on Golf Now. I was only able to play three holes before they closed the course for the day and they would not issue me a rain check.
Absolutely unacceptable that I paid $180 for two players and we were only able to play three holes.
Is there anything Golf Now can do to help with. Credit or rain check?
Probably the best course near the NJ Shore
A little pricy and members have priority. Pace of play was slow due to members taking priority on the back 9 to jump on their private links course. No military discount at this course. Staff was very friendly and supportive. Beverages cart made numerous stops while we were out there. Beautiful course with a great layout and some challenging holes. I used my irons on few to ensure I hit straight on the fairway. I would definitely recommend playing there.
