Cheekwood Golf Club
About
Situated in the heart of Franklin, the Cheekwood Golf Club (formerly known as Fairways on Spencer Creek) is conveniently located only 20 minutes south of Nashville. This popular layout has been ranked as one of the top 10 nine-hole golf courses in Tennessee. Despite being a shorter course, the layout still offers several holes with water hazards and sand bunkers. The tight fairways and rolling terrain also require a fair amount of accuracy. The course has enough challenges as well as enough variety throughout the holes to make it a fun round for more skilled players, which also makes it a great place for beginners to get some practice. Being that the round is usually quick, the golf course is a popular choice for golfers looking to get in a quick round after work.

Great course
You know it's a well designed course when it's all par 4's and 5's and you still have to use all of the clubs in the bags. Well kept course except drainage on hole 3 but if you land on the green, it won't be an issue.
If it were 18 holes, I was on pace to beat my personal best by 3.
Great for beginners
Fairly open and really short golf course. Great for couples. I took my wife out and it was about her 5th time playing, she loved it because it was only 9 holes and she could hit tee to green on all the par 3s. Would highly recommend for any newer golfer, especially if you have trouble with distance or getting the ball in the air! Not a great course for low handicappers.
Course was short but interesting
Course grass was in very nice shape despite a few muddy area due to all the rain in the last 10 days. Greens were a little slow but true. Personel all around the course were very nice. It was a fun little course to play.
Great little course
This is great course to bring beginners and mid to high handy cappers as well. Fun course to play just have fun or to get a good warm up course.
The rough and fairways were in pretty good shape. Greens were not in good shape at all. They have not recovered from aeration and needed to be cut (like putting on a fairway). Bunkers also need some better quality sand.
Hmmmm
Big price for playing this course. Greens need rolling and manicuring. They were close to unputtable. Lots of mowed grass all over greens. Pace of play was great but course conditioning needs work.
Play nine, then do it again better.
Well located, easy enough, and very inviting course. Seems to be very popular and busy on Sunday. Greens are slow and kind of bumpy but once you figure them out its fine. Gives you a chance to play nine, then play nine again better. Fun place, will be back!
