Outstanding
I have been playing there just after the course opened and it is now my home course. Mr. Byron Nelson and Mr. Joe Finger designed an outstanding Championship course in 1974. Our course is always in great shape. The course is so picturesque it is difficult to concentrate on your game. Mr. Nelson designed the greens like Augusta.... once your on the green the challenge really begins. Be sure to chose the right tee for your game or it could be a long day. We have a super Pro staff. Our Grill serves delicious food. The green fees are very reasonable for the experience you are going to have. Enjoy a great day in the Texas Hill Country.
Most challenging course in Kerrville
Very challenging course especially when 10-15 mph winds is normal. Fairways and greens are well manicured. Sand traps are somewhat inconsistent. Some have soft sand while some are almost hard pan. How challenging is this course? Well the Gold tees (for seniors) has a slope rating of 131 for men and 145 for women, the white tees is at 133, while the Blue tees has a slope rating of 137.
