Spring Valley Golf Course
About
Spring Valley Golf Course is a public, 18-hole course that features a rolling, hilly terrain with stately Cottonwood trees that are over 75 years old sprinkled throughout. Designed by Ross Graves, the golf course took over three years to construct, which is understandable considering its elevation of 6400 feet and its hilly terrain. The course is 7,180 yards from its championship tees with a par of 72. Golfers will have to employ their short game for this course. Spring Valley Golf Course's signature hole is the 17th, which is a par-3 that requires a tee shot not only through trees but also over a creek that winds through the course. There is also plenty of wildlife, including rabbits, deer, and antelope, for those who enjoy animals.

Slow Pace
5 players were playing in front of us.
4 adults and 1 child. We skipped one hole and passed them.
Solid course for solid price
First time playing and was very pleased with the course layout and price. Greens are tricky and can be fast at times. Unfortunately, wasn't able to finish the last 3 holes as it rained hard.
Worth the drive
45 minute drive to get there, but time well spent. Be autiful location and in excellent shape. Greens are fast. smooth and very challenging if you end up on the wrong side.
Spring Valley Golf course
My first time playing the course. Tee boxes were good, fairways were good, greens soft receptive and medium speed. Two of the greens needed repairs done in the middle of the green. Great value for the money. I had a hot deal for $20,( used my $10 golfpass credit). Course is not that challenging but I enjoyed my round. If I lived closer I would play again.
Great day
Demanding course in great shape. Few low spots still wet or muddy. Greens perfect.
Fairways neatly mowed and manicured.
it's been awhile
since I played this course. It's in fine shape overall, though there were some wet/muddy spots.
Overall Good Course
First time playing and overall it's a good course for your money. Definitely will be back.
Soft greens and fairways
I'm guessing they've gotten their fair share of rain recently. The greens and fairways were incredibly soft in several areas. So, down side is really no roll when you hit the fairways, but the greens held approach shots. Biggest downside was that the greens are so soft, that even spikes left noticeable dents in the green and you just couldn't get a good roll. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, as I played on a Sunday afternoon - perhaps they'll be rolling the greens early next week? Pace of place was slow, but again - it was a Sunday afternoon. We finished in just under 5 hours, sadly no sign of a marshal to help move the slower groups along. Would I play here again? Absolutely - conditions are still better than most and the layout is fun, staff is great and the drink cart comes around pretty regularly. Thanks Spring Valley!
Great value
An excellent value for the money, no matter what time of day you start. I started at 3:30 and was just barely able to finish the round , but that is the only quibble I have. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the golf course was in excellent shape all the way around. The setup of the course was tough in some places but fair all the way around. The half pound bacon cheeseburger was an excellent ending to the day at Spring Valley. I would highly recommend this course.
