About
Spring Valley Golf Course is a public, 18-hole course that features a rolling, hilly terrain with stately Cottonwood trees that are over 75 years old sprinkled throughout. Designed by Ross Graves, the golf course took over three years to construct, which is understandable considering its elevation of 6400 feet and its hilly terrain. The course is 7,180 yards from its championship tees with a par of 72. Golfers will have to employ their short game for this course. Spring Valley Golf Course's signature hole is the 17th, which is a par-3 that requires a tee shot not only through trees but also over a creek that winds through the course. There is also plenty of wildlife, including rabbits, deer, and antelope, for those who enjoy animals.

Punched greens with too much sand
This is a nice course and a good layout. That said it’s a bit far from and other courses in Denver/Colorado Springs area. I gave course conditions 1 star because they just punched the greens and put so much sand on them it was like putting through a bunker. Given the cinditions it was definitely not worth the price.
Pace and Staff
Took us 4 hrs to play 13 holes. Had to stop early bc it was playing so SLOW. Prepaid for a cart for 18 . I requested if I could take my own cart bc I might have to leave early. The non friendly staff said no I can’t. They charged me extra $11 for my own cart for the back nine. Never again will I play this golf course again.

Beautiful coarse
This course was in perfect condition. The sand was soft, greens were fast with very few imperfections. Fairways were perfect but rough was thick; stopped the ball instantly. Very little water hazards. I strongly recommend this course for its challenge and beauty.
Greens!
The course layout was fun. Fairways/first cut and rough were great. But those greens. Extremely hard. Ball would bounce 10ft high and not even leave a divot. Made it very hard to hold a green. Not to mention lightning fast.
Good golf course for the price
Golf course conditions was okay. They are making progress on their course conditions from impact from last year’s storms. Didn’t realize they allow 5 somes. Took us 4 and a half hour for a course that should only take 3 and a half. The Marshall was worthless, why do you even have golf course Marshall?
