Spring Valley Golf Course
About
Spring Valley Golf Course is a public, 18-hole course that features a rolling, hilly terrain with stately Cottonwood trees that are over 75 years old sprinkled throughout. Designed by Ross Graves, the golf course took over three years to construct, which is understandable considering its elevation of 6400 feet and its hilly terrain. The course is 7,180 yards from its championship tees with a par of 72. Golfers will have to employ their short game for this course. Spring Valley Golf Course's signature hole is the 17th, which is a par-3 that requires a tee shot not only through trees but also over a creek that winds through the course. There is also plenty of wildlife, including rabbits, deer, and antelope, for those who enjoy animals.

Great People Good track
Everyone was really nice as opposed to the tools you run into Colorado national and Racoon creek. Track is not bad.. interesting yet challenging… still doing work on it but playable
Fun course
Great course, my only warning is, if you are a single with a cart they will put another single with you. If sharing a cart with a stranger isn’t your cup of tea (it is not mine) beware they do this. I won’t be playing as a single there again.
Nice course!
Very nice course, a little challenging in spots but fun. Staff was great too. Peace of play was slow but I think it was the groups in front of us that really slowed us down. Over all we only ran 20 minutes behind on 18 so I have witnessed worse. Will be back.
Good Good course
I do like being Elizabeth, It is very peaceful, kinda what golf should be like. greens were a bit slowbut that is good for me.
So happy to have Spring Valley open again
It is great to know that Spring Valley golf course is back in business. Course is in pretty good shape. Will be playing there often to help support the course. Restaurant has good food and excellent service.
Great day great play
Course has come a long way and is quite astonishing how better it looks and plays.
Our first time playing Spring Valley
Make sure you plan ahead. You can only book tee times 7 days ahead. When checking in to course had 2 issues. Requested an additional cart that was an alarming $42 dollars, and not for golfers but spectators. Note, this additional cart broke down just after thr front 9 forcing my guests to walk the remaining holes. This didn't seem too bad, except for the pace of play on the back 9 was atrocious. There was 3 groups stacked on the remaining 5 holes, no corse marshal in site. Mix in a broken over priced cart with the slow down in play, I don't not recommend the back nine.
No distance markers
Beautiful club house and nice restaurant. Golf course was in fine shape. Still recovering from the flooding last year. Problem was, there are no distance markers anywhere.
Glad they are open
Glad to see them back in operation after the flood. Course was in great shape and lots of changes have been made. Great course and all of the staff were very friendly
Course remodel
