Holiday Hills Golf Course
About
Holiday Hills is an old course that some say date back to the 1920s. Its traditional layout features tree-lined fairways and is generally flat. The course is short at only 6,169 yards from the tips, and the club prides itself on the excellent condition of its undulating greens.
The front course features five par 3s, four of which play around 200 yards. The unique front nine features three par 3s and three par 5s, including the number one handicap No.3, which goes a long 535 yards. If you’re on a roll the final stretch of holes is welcome, featuring four par 4s under 400 yards.
Getting there : From Fort Worth, take I-20 west to Hwy. 180. Then head west straight to the course.

Awesome golf course!!
The course is beautiful and very well maintained! TJ and staff are VERY friendly & professional.
Would recommend this course to all that love to play golf... A++++++++
Mineral Wells Golf Coarse
I grew up in the town playing frequently used to be a well maintained coarse. I moved a few years ago and played for the first time in three years and has it changed!!! Clovers have taken over the coarse! You would hit your drive into the fairway and loose your ball because of the thickness of clovers. Tress and bushes were not trimmed nor was the facility weed-eated. DO NOT waist your money go to Canyon West or Sugartree 15-20 min drive.
Wide open
Overall average. Lots of geese on course so lot of goose feces
lost
Between the mushrooms and the trash it took several minutes to find every ball
Nice Course
Greens where recently drilled and sand aplied but not enough sand and greens where not rolled for smoothness. I think by May 10th greens will be filled in and should be rolling better.
lots of slpoed lies tight green
Rachel great, fun course for a tune up.turns left and right
the course is a fun challange
I went to other courses every weekend before golf-now . I keep the money in mineral Wells now. The people are nice the course fun and I save on driving time. The government is shut down but Holliday Hills isn't and its way more worth it. Come to Mineral Wells and play.
fun course
It's an old style course with long holes with elevated greens, fun and easy going...
On the Right Track
This course has made some great strides on this course. Fairways are incredibly green for august. Greens are a little slow but roll pretty true.
Improved
The fairways were mowed this time and it was in good shape for August. However if you hit the ball off the fairway you can lose it very easily. The greens were also above average and in good shape. Looks like they were trying to maintain it a little more than normal. I will go back, fun coarse to play.
Nice layout but needed to be mowed.
We enjoyed playing the course. The layout is good but a couple of the holes played into each other. The fairways are not even but were mowed. The rough near the fairways appeared to not have been mowed in several days and even being just a few yards off the fairways, we lost several balls due to the high grass. Otherwise, was a pleasant afternoon.
horrible course
I don't like to give any course a bad rating, however, this one truly deserves it. The greens were in great shape, once you got to them. Fairways are mostly like hitting from the rough all the time. There is no grass, only whatever grows naturally which is sadly to say mostly sand burs. This course is not going to get any better as the season gets hotter and drier, only worse. When all those sand burs dry out it will be a miserable place to play. This is truly a cow pasture golf course. The greens were covered in goose droppings!! Not even worth the $8.99 that I paid through golf now.
Nice greens, but that's it.
First off, I will say the greens were in pretty good shape. Tee boxes were ok, too. Fairways, however, were not in good shape and if you haven't played the course before, it was very confusing on some holes which fairway was which. Basically, the course is a mowed field with tee boxes, greens, and a cart path. Looks like they spend a lot of effort on the greens, but not much else. Also, the front guy kept trying to charge us 10 dollars more per person after getting the tee time on this website. I think it is more a course for locals in a once popular city that died out decades ago.
Fun course, great greens
The fairways were being aerated when I played on 4/12/2013 making them a little sloppy. The fairways that were not yet aerated were less than great. However, the greens were in perfect condition. They held shots, were a good size, and the ball rolled really well on the surfaces. Although the fairways were receiving attention and were consequently not that good, the greens made this course a joy to play. There is moderate elevation changes throughout the course with water on holes #4, #13, #18. My favorite hole is #13 which requires at least a long Iron to carry the lake. The approach then requires an accurate shot through a narrow stretch of trees to a medium size green. The closing stretch is four par fours that are challenging but not horribly difficult. I played from the back tees at 6,200 yards which I felt was a bit short but still pleasent. It seems that members show up at the course after 9 A.M. and 6-8 people in a group does not seem unusual. I was ahead of them in the moringing but I never had a problem with slow play throughout the 27 holes I played. Watch out for #9 long par 3. There is little room to miss right, no room to miss over, and if you are short, you must play a pitch-shot over a very large bunker to a green that slopes away, If I am ever in Mineral Wells again, I would not hesitate to go and play this course just for the quality of the greens,
This course was fun to play.
The course was fun to play. Not too hard and not too easy. They keep it in good shape and the staff was friendly. The only thing we did not like was that they just sanded the greens. Putting was iffy at best.
Small greens
This course is a short course and many trees need to be trimmed so they don't hang down into the fairways. It was winter conditions when we played and the fairways were in okay shape. The greens are very small and fast. The help was extremely friendly, but I don't think I would play here again due to the distance I drove and the overall conditions of the course.
