Nine Hole at Shary Municipal Golf Course

I heard that the greens had been fixed and decided to give them a try. They are basically the same.

Course's front and back nine holes are being renovated. Can only play the middle nine at this time. They are fixing the tee boxes, greens and maybe the fairways. If you only want to play nine holes, the middle nine are good, the greens have recently go e through aeriation so they are a bit bumpy. Some of the fairways have grass but need water as they are hard pan.

Hole 13 was shortened to par 3 because of construction

Terrible course conditions, all the tee boxes were in a horrible condition , the greens are unplayable you have to guess were the balls going, the rental clubs are joke, the clubs are from the last century, I would prefer play in my back yard

The greens were recently airiated and in rough condition.

Could be a great place to play. Needs some TLC. First no water then too much water. Would like to play it again

I had the pleasure to play the poorest course in the RGV. Grass on the fairways is non existent and the greens appear to have problems with wild hogs on them.

Greens are in horrible shape with bare spots. It took us 5 hours for the round. Group in front of us moved at a snails pace with no marshal to assist in moving them along. They do not have any beverage cart service even though the place was packed. They have a snack bar at the turn, which was closed. No mention of that by staff prior to us going out. Carts are old and in need of updating. Overall I would not recommend this course to anyone.
