About
Evergreen Golf Course is an 18-hole, public course that is located west of Denver on the shore of Evergreen Lake. It is conveniently located only about 30 minutes from Denver. It is an affordable option that offers a good game. The golf course is widely known for its excellently manicured greens and also its immaculate maintenance. Water hazards come into play on only three holes but the entire course is also well-bunkered. The terrain is quite hilly and there are many dogleg fairways, both providing even more challenge. Evergreen Golf Course's natural beauty is made up of Ponderosa Pines that are sprinkled throughout and scenic mountain views from nearly every tee.

Great little mountain course and good place to cool off
This is a fun little course that takes you up and down the mountains and so, you likely need to play it more than once before you start to figure out the angles. It can get a bit slow on the weekends and lots of elk out there at times, keep your distance and they are not big dogs. It is fun, up and down, greens can get hard in the summer

Nice course
Overall a pretty good course. Excellent scenic views and plenty of elk and marmots to watch you play. The only issue I had was the condition of the greens - due to the elk, there are several imperfections across the greens making it hard to have a putt not bounce along the way. Id still play it again though.

Total waste of your time!
Don’t waste your time booking a time at Evergreen. Just book something in the metro area.
An absolute joke of calling this place a golf course.. Not a flat spot on any tee box. Different grass levels on greens. Goat ranch would be an understatement to describe it.

Manager in the packers beanie MUST go
To begin with, the woman in the pro shop was absolutely charming and accommodating. No harsh words ought ever be spoken about her; she is a queen. Then we went to retrieve our carts and encountered perhaps the least enjoyable person ever to exist. Not only was this miniature, tiny little man with a packers beanie and northern accent like nails on a chalkboard completely obnoxious, he was equally unhelpful and irresponsible. When we realized the breaks in our cart were inoperable, he refused to replace our cart with one that worked, and maintained a tone that was belligerent and offensive- particularly to the women in our group. Not only is this sexist, ignorant and obnoxious, but it also presents a significant safety/liability issue clearly above the head of this Wisconsinite Neanderthal. Because of the pretentious and condescending attitude of this obnoxious midwestern transplant, under no circumstances will we return to the evergreen course. Reminder: this is evergreen NOT aspen. Hopefully this review will be instructive for ownership and lead to a process of reeling in your overzealous and experience-ruining staff. Cheers

Be prepared to hit 10 long. Be ready for the physical exertion.

Nice Mountain City Course
Nice Mountain course. Not to crowded, some walking. Not to difficult. Nice staff. Maybe a marshall now and then for pace of play. With 280 yard par 4's this should go at 4 hours no longer.

Love this course. Have played it for years and never disappointed. It can be a little slow but just pace yourself and take your time with every shot. Use it to play better golf.
