Meadows Golf Club

About
Located in the Southwest Metro area, the golf course at the Meadows Golf Club has a links-style layout that provides a challenging and fun game for all golfers. The trio of Bradford Benz, J. Michael Poellot, and Richard Phelps designed this municipal, 18-hole course. It is just over 7,000 yards and plays to a par of 72. The course is situated against the foothills of the Rockies, providing nice views along the course. The risk-and-reward layout of the course features water hazards and bunkers. Meadows Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3, 8th hole, which require a shot over water to a well-bunkered and extremely sloped green.

Meadows
I bought a round the night before and had a tee time of 11:54 am. I called early in the morning to see if the driving range was open, and was informed that the course was closed. Fortunately I called ahead of time.
Monday at Meadows
Had a good round, not too busy on a late season Monday, so no pressure to rush. Course was in good shape for late season. Temp was 58, windy at times. I walked and got a good workout.
Challenge! Value! Fun!
Fifth round since first weekend in October 2020 (Best for Fall colors)... can't get enough of this course!
Long from the back tees, scoring challenge to reach all Par5's, Blue tees offer opportunities but placement on greens is always key; some real nasty breaking putts await you if you're on the numerous double-breaking slopes or edges.
Windy conditions (like today) really puts your game to the test not to mention your balance!
Playing my own Best-Ball, Front nine; very windy (20+mph), I went PAR-PAR-PAR-EAGLE-BIRDIE-PAR-PAR-PAR-PAR and so happy for that!
Back nine; not as windy, I went BIRDIE-PAR-BIRDIE-PAR-PAR-PAR-PAR-PAR-PAR

Greens are tough
Challenging, Tough greens tons of hazards and some birdie holes also. Beautiful layout!
Why the Bermuda on the back nine??
Front nine was fantastic. Fast hard fairways, and consistent green complexes. Back nine was a soggy wet mess. 10, 11, 12 we’re especially bad. All other fairways and greens were very soft and inconsistent. Not sure why management has Bermuda on the back nine, but it doesn’t work from either a playing or maintenance perspective. This course has amazing potential, but is squandered. Such a shame.
Wouldn’t recommend this course
Way to gimmicky , super wet fairways , tee boxes where crap
All-around Wow!
I haven't played here in a long time and all that went away after the first hole... the views, the drives, the approaches, greenside shots, putting greens, bunkers, both sand and grass, all in great shape, the marshal keeping great pace for us all... beautiful morning and a beautiful walk, not ruined :)! Cheers!

First time playing this course. The greens had recently been aerated but the rest was in great condition. Ton of fun, nice relaxing round. Plan to play it again, hopefully before the end of season.
Good Course
Good course. Greens were just recently punch and sanded so that took away from some of the round. Played from the tips and that made it all the challenge I wanted and needed. Its long from the tips.
