Pros:
Beautiful course with upgraded carts that feature a gps map, designated notes for each hole (example cart path only), music that can play through the cart at just the right decibel. The course itself is maintained very well - despite the holding of rain water. A membership for this course is the most reasonable as far as cost to amenities ratio. Their onsite drink options were great.
Cons
Cart cost add to membership making it a much larger additional cost
There wasn’t a menu for food - but they made a great lunch with what they had available.
The course holds a lot of water.
Course layout is confusing on the back - even a few on the back. Some holes could use better signage.
Overall a fantastic course!
Cool layout, but need of repair
This is an old course in not good overall shape. The cart paths were almost undriveable, the majority of sand traps had little or no sand, lots of bare spots throughout course. Lots of deferred maintenance. The greens were actually in very good shape which made up for alot of other issues around course. The thing about this course is I could imagine that at some point in it day it was a really nice course as it has some very unique and challenging holes.
I wish they would put some money into it and fix it up as it does have a nice foundation to being a nice challenging course.
Final thing, range is not good, torn up pretty bad and the clubhouse has basically nothing in it, so don't come expecting to get any drinks, snacks or other items.
The course was fine
The course was wet, but we knew it would be. The person sending us out was very helpful and we appreciated it. He let us know we could play the back nine so we could not be rushed. The only thing I was not happy about was that I left my Garmin in the Golfcart and we still have not received it after all this time. I have called several times. Carter has told me each time that he has told his boss (do not know his name (Austin??) and no Garmin sent still. Not real pleased################################.
First time
First time playing the course and it was great! I will for sure be back!!!
LJN
This place has become very nice. The greens were emerald carpets. A little slow but uniform without a single blemish. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. I'll definitely be back.
Tremendous
I played this course when I was in high school, it was our regional course for the four years.
The layout of holes have changed, along with taller trees on most holes, but they have sought to challenge event the more advanced golfers. The greens were in great shape for the weather that they took on over the past couple of weeks and even though there were some soft areas in the fairways, they played better than expected.
The course condition was bad. Grems were ok.The fourways were patchy the cart path was broken up Badly would not play again.
