Riviera Maya Golf Club - Championship Course

Although I have played here many times and have brought many groups of my friends and visitors, as I live in the area, I have discontinued coming. As a handicapped person, there are holes that I simply cannot physically get to the green. When I first started going, the staff would set the cart to Marshall status because the handicapped setting was literally the same as a regular golfer. Then, the staff told me the manager would no longer allow that setting to be used. I have attempted to contact the management to ask for an accommodation, but I'm unsure who the person to talk to is. Whether it is the pro, the manager, or the groundskeeper, I would not know. Whenever I leave messages, they are not returned, and the operator prevents them from talking to the public.

The fairways and greens were what you would expect out of a PGA course. The greens were running a little slow but not horrible, they were in great condition. Tee time was a 1030 and there was a husband and wife that went off right before us. We finished the round in about 3 hours and 30 minutes. Pace of play was perfect. I golfed here, hard rock, and coyote while I was in Playa del Carmen and this is the only one I would recommend value for play. Hard Rock is a harder course, not in as good of shape, but it is all inclusive.

The course was is great shape. Greens were rolling a little slow for what I would think for it being the hot months but it is also the rainy season and did rain that night. Course layout was fun and challenging, with narrow fairways with the ball pretty much being lost in the trees or water if you miss pretty bad. It is a challenging course bur fair and fun. I would play it again without hesitation.

We played the Par 3 9 hole last year and it was fun, but the 18 hole course was fantastic. We are novice players that just enjoy being outdoors and loosing balls! lol. This course was fun and absolutely gorgeous! We will be back soon!

PGA Riviera Maya at Tulum Country Club was one of the lowest priced courses during our off-season trip. Despite the back nine undergoing a lot of repair, the course was great. The combination of course design, PGA status, and price made it an easy decision to play. I'd love to play it again next time we're in the region.

Played one of the earliest tee times to beat the heat. Course was in perfect condition. Had a great time with some members who provided some much needed advice on a couple holes. Would play again for sure!

Between this hilarious website and the golf course you cancelled my tee time during my honey moon. Would recommend anyone to use this website or book a tee time at this golf course. Straight Neanderthalism

Only drawback was cart path only, likely for upcoming tour.

Reception in pro shop very good young lady spelled out process. Rentals were ok wish I had a choice in putter. Range was good with chipping green, would have been nice t access sooner. Starter was good. Course was outstanding both layout and challenge. We played from whites certainly all we could handle stretch of 7 thru 10 very tough stretch. As well as last four holes. 17 is a great hole into wind.. enjoyed it pace was just under 5 hours too slow, conditions were very good. Expensive but a good test.

We were fortunate to have one of the members join our twosome. On the very first tee he warned us about the potential dangers of poisonus snakes, reptiles and spiders. He gave us instructions how to be careful at the edge of the jungle if looking for our golf ball. It would have been nice for the staff to warn us.
