Fantastic course
I cannot day enough about the layout, scenery and condition of this golf course. I’ve played courses all across the country and this is an absolute hidden gem. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the pace of play was definitely an issue. This could have been a freak occurrence with it being 67 degrees in December. I will definitely be returning and will update to 5 stars if pace of play improves!

This is a terrific course ... well maintained ... never too busy ... excellent staff ... almost hate for people to find out about it.

It had rained all night so it was cart path only but I still finished in about 2 hours playing by myself. The greens were in very good shape. Fairways are dormant for the winter but still good surface to hit off of.

Golden Ghost Town
Beautiful rolling fairways, Smooth undulating greens.
Well kept and manicured. Considering the amount of rainfall that middle tennessee has gotten this year, i was astounded to see such a course in that shape. It had rained, of course, the week prior to our play. This had really only effected the bunkers. Incredible drainage! Great job to the builders.

( as good as any of those courses )

They have condos, A Lake, Ducks and even though i didnt see any, im sure there’s deer.

IT Was So Sad! So Sad.
I guess between non caring retirees and a reclusive video gaming, social media infested younger generation, the people from the late 70’s, 80’s and 90’s are the last to appreciate and enjoy this great track in Sparta, Tn

A Labor of Love
I'm not sure why this course wound up where it is; it's not really close to anything other than Center Hill Lake. But if you took this course and put it in any golf destination in the country you'd be looking at $150 - $200 per round. It's an amazing layout that capitalizes on the rolling hills, gulches, and varying terrain to give you a memorable golfing experience. It's not an easy course, ,nor readily understood the first time or two you play, but it is a delightful test of your skills and worth every penny you spend and every mile you have to drive to get there.

Love it
Love this tract. One of middle Tennessee finest. Owner is a good guy and has asked me frequently about my input. The undermanned grounds crew are absolutely amazing. I truly appreciate the hours they put in. I could probably live without the old “retired” cranky cart/range “employee”. He takes his job a bit to serious, but he’s not gonna kill my golf high. Challenging, fair, uneven lies, beautiful!!!!

Never disappointing to play here!
The course was in good condition considering that the grass is starting to go dormant. The layout is very challenging and never disappoints.
You do get more roll right now which actually makes the fairways and greens a bit more challenging. It was a great day of golf!

I have played this couse many times and am always happy to see the improvements that Dave and his staff make, Even with fall being in all its leaf glory the fairways, greens and even the roughs are leaf free! The greens are true and the beauty of the couse speaks for itself!

The greens were not much fun to putt on,they had been aerated & had sand,would not have played if i had known.Otherwise great challenging course!

Gorgeous
Multiple tees make course playable for virtually all skill levels. Was a little intimidating at first glance but once we got into the round was able to adjust to it. In pretty decent condition considering recent lack of rain but were a few rough spots on some of the greens. Was definitely good value based on price paid through Golf Now. Will definitely play again when back in area.

Extremely unforgiving course, almost too tough for amateurs. Everyone was nice but I wouldn’t play again.
