I really enjoyed the course, it feels like a 'real' 18 hole course, just only with the front 9. Great length for a 9 hole course and good variation. Took me a bit over 2h to finish, would be doable in 90min if it wasn't for some slow play that afternoon. But understandable, it was Friday afternoon on a sunny day before a bank holiday weekend.

Don't be fooled by the price or ownership, I've played here in the extreme heatwave last summer and the depths of a cold rainy winter, and it's always playable and the greens are always good. I've played much more expensive courses which are covered in mud, waterlogged, scorched or the greens are unplayable. This is a basic course which is good for practice or a quick relaxed round. Always good value.

Wasn’t a single person at the club house reception to check in, once about to Tee off, a gentleman came out and told us we shouldn’t of booked through Golf Now.

The holes are not numbered, no way to let you know the yardage.

Would be good to add the 150 yard marker

Fairways weren’t in very good shape

The golf range was closed so was unable to hit a couple of balls before my round.

A couple of basic pointers above that would certainly help improve the course.

Greens were in noticeably good shape on my last visit (a few months since I had last been there), tees pretty much kept on top of. A good round.

It was really enjoyable, not long or particularly testing, but fun enough to have a decent game. The green s were lovely to putt on, which for me is always the benchmark to a nice course, The chap in the pro shop was very friendly, as indeed were the local members. Couldn't get any food afterwards though as the only downside, as there was no chef, however that did save me paying for breakfast as I was soundly beaten by my playing partner!! A return visit won't be far away, great value forthe price, especially online.

Terrific value for the price. Although a 9 hole course, it was interesting, especially haven't had played it before, the first 9 was like a walk into the unknown, but the 2nd time around we were a bit aware of where to go and plot your ball around.

The condition of the course was very good, the staff very attentive and welcoming and the menu after, albeit a little basic, was very nice.

We certainly would go back again.

Course was in a bit of a state to be honest. Looks like a lot of the greens have been re laid recently but haven't grown properly, perhaps due to awful drainage around the entire course.

I think the course would be a lot better in the summer after a bit growing and some warm weather.

Half decent driving range and two putting areas but again, lacked drainage.

Also found the play a little slow and the standard quite poor. Saw half a dozen people just walk into the final 3 holes from the driving range which slowed up play and was a little annoying.

Overall, course needs some TLC and better drainage and could be a nice little 9 hole.
