About
The track here along Lake Livingston weaves around eight man-made lakes, with holes that roll through skinny, pine-tree lined fairways routing to averaged-sized greens.
The par 5s stand out for their length, one on each side. No. 8 is ranked number two in terms of difficulty, but plays 590 yards, while the toughest hole is No. 12 at a mere 569 yards.
Getting there : From I-45 north, take Hwy. 19 towards Trinity. When you come to Hwy. 94, turn right drive down FM 356, then turn right again and drive 3 miles to the course. The course is on the left side.

The greens are looking somewhat better! It’s going to be a big improvement to the course. Maybe the sand traps will be next.
Fun, country golf!
Westwood Shores is the perfect place to play a quick 18 holes and have fun doing it. GolfNow had a Hot Deal on a round yesterday (May 20, 2022), and the deal was too good to pass up. Paired up with one of Westwood Shores' young employees. Meeting Eli made a fun day even more enjoyable. He crushed the ball!
The layout at Westwood Shores presents challenges for golfers of all skill levels. Conditions aren't bad. The greens were a little furry, but that's OK. Next time, we'll make a few more pars, and maybe a birdie or three.

For the price, this was excellent. Beautiful, challenging. I could play this course regularly and be happy.
Great potential but rough conditions.
This course was in a little rough condition but I attribute that to the time of the year. Lots of ground under repair and the bunkers and greens were in rough shape. I’ll definitely play it again in the spring and summer. Great layout though.
Putting rigrass on tee box would dress the course up Would play again

Looks like they are doing the work to make it a better course. Can’t wait to play it later this year or next.
