About
The track here along Lake Livingston weaves around eight man-made lakes, with holes that roll through skinny, pine-tree lined fairways routing to averaged-sized greens.
The par 5s stand out for their length, one on each side. No. 8 is ranked number two in terms of difficulty, but plays 590 yards, while the toughest hole is No. 12 at a mere 569 yards.
Getting there : From I-45 north, take Hwy. 19 towards Trinity. When you come to Hwy. 94, turn right drive down FM 356, then turn right again and drive 3 miles to the course. The course is on the left side.

Good course
Good course layout. Fairways and greens are a little rough, but are very playable.
Fantastic
This course was maybe the best course I have played this year. The greens were excellent but were very slow. The rough is extremely exacting if you can find your ball in it.

Very nice. Greens are the best they have ever been.

Great course and layout. Good shots are awarded poor shots can be punished. Greens are a little hairy but that’s to be expected with super wet conditions.

Westwood Shores Golf Course
The book in process was flawless.
Thank you Golfnow! The golf shop employee was very polite and he was wearing a mask. The facilities were dated, but operational. The snack bar was open. The course fairways were in good condition, but the greens were in need of much needed attention The greens needed to be cut and the grass was dying. Due to the disappointment with the condition of green's I would rate our experience as fair.

It was a nice day to be out playing. The course was in good shape and greens rolled true. Not that many trees but strategically placed to cause problems if not careful. It’s a scenic course that is a joy to play. The staff are friendly. I play this course at least a couple of times a month and worth the hour drive.

The course was in good shape. The greens were areated and sand in spots. Fun course to play. I enjoy playing here.
Course was good. Staff was courteous and friendly. My only complaint is the greens. To me they were a bit hairy and slow. Loved it though for the cost of play.
Fair Value & Decent Layout
Course has decent layout with a few challenging holes over or alongside water. The greens were extremely slow and bumpy. Some tee boxes could also use some work. A very inexpensive course to play so it is worth the money.

The course was in the best shape ever. The greens have improved since the last time I’ve played there. The fairways were in good condition. The staff was friendly and restaurant was great. It was an enjoyable day of golf.
Greens
Greens were a work in progress. Sandy from them sanding them. Some fairways are hard from lack of watering. Overall decent course.
