Great experience.
Always a fun time playing golf here. A few of the pin placements slow the pace down and a couple bells would be useful for blind tee shots, but it doesn’t hamper your ability to have a good time here.

Water 9
I have played Turkeyfoot several times but have never played the Water 9 until today. The course was in great condition considering all the rain we have received this spring. The staff was great and very friendly. This is definitely a course to play.

Turkeyfoot Waternine
Absolute Midwest gem from another era of golf. Rarely do you see a third nine or "executive" nine brave enough to adhere to par 35 with such well thought out risk reward par 4s and par 5s designed nearly 100 years ago. Stunning tranquil views of the Portage Lakes that Akron area can thank the Thornton family family for maintaining not only this heavenly nine but all 27 hole. Do yourself a favor visit a course where the earth was not moved with bulldozers but but oxen , man and muscle. And is kept in impeccable shape!
