Turkeyfoot Lake Golf Links - Middle 9

Average course if you play 1-18. Somewhat disappointing that we were stuck on the "third" 9 - an executive course as our second 9 holes. Won't play here again. Paid full price and did not get full price course in return. Play at your own risk.

Nice well maintained course and friendly staff. Played back 9 of the main course and the short course. Will definitely be back!

My review starts with the staff. The starter was tremendous. Nice and extremely accommodating. Play here if for no other reason than to be treated like you are valued as a visitor.

We played all 27 holes. The middle 9 is in my opinion the best. While not extremely long, the condition is fantastic and you have to get to your spots.

The front nine, or long as it's called, was okay. Condition not as good as the middle 9 but it's length made it a bit more challenging.

I want to point out that the third nine bowls is more of an executive length course to maybe executive Plus. About 1,000 yards less from the blue tees than typical. It rolls along the lake and is beautiful but we did not know this when we booked and I wanted to point it out here so others know.

We will assuredly play here again and recommend it highly.

Best kept secret places on beautiful green fairways. Everything was in great shape and the course layout creates a great challenge with many par 5’s and room for correction

I’ve only golfed the front nine in the past. Golfnow had a deal $23 for 18 @ 0715 which seemed like a great deal. The golf pro advised I’d be playing the middle and back nine this outing and said “what do you expect when paying $23”. Pro’s: middle nine!, pace, upkeep, greens, fairways, on and on. Con’s: 19-28 left much to be desired, and man and woman casually walking a dog in fairways, random golfers hitting two dozen balls off the tee box. Overall it’s a nice place, I’d try sticking with 1-18 for an optimal experience. The occasional fairway dog crap could be avoided too.

The Greens were great. No brown dried up brown patches of grass from all the heat we’ve had lately anywhere on the course. You can tell they water the greens, fairways, and sand traps often. This course by far has had the best sand traps not that You want to play from them but I found myself in them 3x and was actually able to hit out of them fairly easy. If your looking for a great scenic course with some challenging holes here and there than this course is perfect for Your Sunday tee time.

I play 3-4 a week. 8 handicap if it matters. If you want a place you can score well, play here. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are really well manicured. Up there with Chippewa, and some of the other quality courses in the Akron area . I love playing here bc there are some fun unique holes. Some really short par 4’s that you can birdie.

We've played this course before and its in the best shape I've seen it in. It's been really dry, but that's had no impact as the course in plush condition and manicured beautifully. It's one of my favorite courses in Northeast Ohio.

I waited on every hole it took us 6 hours to play. There were multiple 5somes ahead of use too. Poorly managed tee time. I will not be back

Course was awesome, excellent course conditions, but my goodness what made my first time playing there a great experience was the staff. Starter was awesome, friendly, helpful, even checked on us when we made the turn. Never stacked the tee boxes so pace of play was perfect. Can’t say enough great things about this course/staff. Can’t wait to get back there!!
