Red Hawk Golf Club

It’s a very challenging golf course. Hard greens. A bit frustrating at times but I had a great time.

This course has so many different things about it that are awesome if you like a challenge.

If you like the wildlife aspect of golf then this place will almost always offer sightings of families of quail, red hawks, snakes, maybe even a wildcat.

This is the longest course in Cruces so it requires some pretty gutsy shots out there at times. The grass is well kept and the greens are the most well kept in town consistently.

Lots of bunkers that like to attract any ball close and my only negative is towards the amount of rocks in the trap, can be muddy and just how impossible it is to expect consistent sand underneath 1/2 inch.

I was disappointed when we played because on this Sunday there was no cart girl. It was Super Bowl Sunday but should of provided water and drinks on the course! C’ on Man

Fairways are really nice. Payed some really nice sand shots today. Thank goodness because they are many. Bunkers all over. Sand in bunkers is kept up nice. Challenging fast greens.

Thanks did not water as it was cold today but did not have wet grass to play on so balls ran out. Bunkers are looking better! Pro shop people are professional and very nice

Course was backed up at the first tee we were.paired up with two other players. We were rushed and several times the threesome behind us would tee off sending golf balls over us.

Sand traps need more sand on front nine. My only gripe.

Rushed off course at 5:15 with three holes left. Could have easily finished before dark. Ruined round. I have never had this happen. Would have enjoyed a.nice drink and the sunset. Felt un-appreciated, got in car and left. No rush to come back.

Staff is always friendly, food is great. Best course in southern New Mexico and west texas by far!!!!!

The greens need to be rolled. The overall condition is good. Staff is super nice. The practice tee area at ball range could use some leveling.
