Great day playing golf with a friend!
The tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great condition. Bunkers need some attention. I would definitely recommend playing this course if you are in the area!
Bunkers
Sand bunkers could still use some work, They are so deep I guess it is hard to keep them from eroding from water the sides and the bottom stays packed, and not really sand to get club under, The rest of the course is great
Great condition very challenging
The course is in peak condition with exception to the bunkers which are a bit hard, this course is tough and will expose flaws in your game
Outstanding Course
Pro shop staff was friendly and helpful, starter was helpful.
Course was in excellent condition, greens were pure and smooth. Better bring your long game, it's not short.
First time to play this course!
Traveling through Las Cruces and LwYs use Golf Now to check out what's available. Found 2 options ND chose Red Hawk...based on recent reviews. Wow...did I get lucky. Let me explain:
- arrived at the course and before I could get out...a staff member pulled up and ask if he could load my clubs on a cart
- pulled up to the pro shop and was greeted
- had a little time and took advantage of the chipping and putting greens...excellent condition
- played with two locals and had a blast
- really good conditions...especially since the punched the greens a few weeks ago
- the bunkers have COVID...so they haven't been raked...hopefully they get better soon
*** Highly recommend this course...and suggest you use Golf Now to book...can save you some money!
Best Course in New Mexico
I love playing at Red Hawk, it's a tough course that will challenge you no matter your handicap. It's in unbelievable conditions with beautiful lush grass and the greens are perfect. Don't pass up the chance to play at Red Hawk you won't regret it.

Greens are still in rough shape but will get there! Traps need some work but fairways are sweet and the staff there is outstanding! !!!

Redhawk golf course
Redhawk golf course is the best course in the area and always maintained to the best. Pro shop is always ready to serve and with great intentions for the customers. Top notch personnel.
Difficult course but beautiful condition
I am 75 years old so it is a little long for me but that certainly isn’t the fault of the golf course. I did manage a 93 from the red tees. I will play further forward next time. Beautiful condition. Best course conditions in the area.
