Red Hawk Golf Club

Our group was told we were up to tee off. We got to the tee only to find the group ahead of us just talking there without tee off. Nobody in front of them on the first hole. We looked back at the starter who told us we were next and he just stared at us. We waited 15 minutes before tee off time. We waited for at least 5 to 10 minutes at each tee box. A marshal came by and said we could call the pro shop if we wanted to complain. Not too enjoyable.

Bunkers still need work, not much sand and packed.very hard to get a decent shot. Next item, not exactly the courses fault but pace of play was slow due to the group In front was slow and appeared to not understand or notice that there were us and at least two other groups waiting not them , also 4 players 3 sets of clubs in this group

Greens are in excellent shape … people fixing ball marks, Rough is getting higher - keep it in the fairway.

While golfing single, I was enjoying the round at Redhawk when a single player joined me who was a good looking woman. Man, that made a good day even better. C’mon!

Marshals starters kept everyone moving time. Provided needed coarse data. I was paired with 3 Others that were solo players. Good time.

Course was in great shape

The greens were true.

Rough was tough

The tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great condition. Bunkers need some attention. I would definitely recommend playing this course if you are in the area!

Sand bunkers could still use some work, They are so deep I guess it is hard to keep them from eroding from water the sides and the bottom stays packed, and not really sand to get club under, The rest of the course is great

The course is in peak condition with exception to the bunkers which are a bit hard, this course is tough and will expose flaws in your game

Pro shop staff was friendly and helpful, starter was helpful.

Course was in excellent condition, greens were pure and smooth. Better bring your long game, it's not short.

Traveling through Las Cruces and LwYs use Golf Now to check out what's available. Found 2 options ND chose Red Hawk...based on recent reviews. Wow...did I get lucky. Let me explain:

- arrived at the course and before I could get out...a staff member pulled up and ask if he could load my clubs on a cart

- pulled up to the pro shop and was greeted

- had a little time and took advantage of the chipping and putting greens...excellent condition

- played with two locals and had a blast

- really good conditions...especially since the punched the greens a few weeks ago

- the bunkers have COVID...so they haven't been raked...hopefully they get better soon

*** Highly recommend this course...and suggest you use Golf Now to book...can save you some money!
