Very Good Deal
Good personnel. price, facility with great arcade but poor course conditions and some inaccessible areas.
Pace of play was insane..
We started on time at 4:18pm and the highest handicap in our group is a 11 and we didn’t get off of 18 until 9:05.. there were holes all along front and back nine where we sat for 20 minutes. No marshall anywhere enforcing pace and no cart girl even. The course has potential to be great but they need to step up taking care of it and getting back to basic rules of golf.
good price but poor conditions
No real fairways just cut grass with lots of bare spots. Didn't but should have bumped the ball to preferred lies - if you could find one. Lots of environmentally non accessible areas - so lots of lost balls. Within building is a great arcade,
June 19 Apple Creek
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, well done! The course itself was suffering from the drought, only so much water anyone can pour on manually. Hopefully the expected rain this weekend will perk things up. (Although I didn’t lose so many balls to water hazards…!)
First round this year
I had a lot of worm-burner shots to start the year, but the rock hard ground gave me some needed distance! Seriously, it was very dry (Mother Nature’s fault mostly) but it was a great day at a great price with some great new friends! Greens were in nice shape though
Not far off a city course
I didn't mind it to be honest. Maybe because I'm a beginner golfer. I found the course, especially the fairways to be very well kept however the cart paths and greens were awful.
Other than the cart girl, the staff were mutes basically, no hello, no welcome, nothing, felt like I was an annoyance to them off by just showing up.
We did have a fairly awful group in front of us and not once did we see a marshal show up, it was frustrating but the guys behind us were amazing and understood.
Final say is that it's a tad expensive for what it is, played nicer courses for the same amount of money so value is solid 6/10 in my personal opinion
Course review
The course is in rough condition due to the dry weather. It was difficult to even get a tee pushed into the tee boxes. I like the unique layout of holes. The snack bar intersection is great. This course could be amazing and a lot of fun if it had a source of water.
Course is in good early season shape
Had fun, pace of play was excellent. Had enjoyable round
Pace of play was so slow it ruined the overall experience. This is not my first experience with slow play at your course. It is the only reason I only play it once or twice per year in hopes that there is a change.
