9 holes took almost 3 hours

Had a 1:10pm tee time. Didn’t tee off until 1:20. Waited for at least ten minutes on every hole. Took almost 3 hours. Really hard to enjoy when it’s so incredibly slow. Played with a guy who is an instructor there and he said it’s like this all the time. Maybe 10 minutes in between tee times isn’t enough. Beautiful course though.

World War II Reenactment with a 7 iron

Played here after some heavy rain fall. It’s like walking in a pasture field. Marching the fairway with my group somehow reminded me of Saving Private Ryan. Or maybe Tropic Thunder. Marine One flew over a couple of times, pretty sure POTUS saw my slice.
