Langston Golf Course

For the price it's worth even though the front isn't on the best shape but the back 9 will make up for it and will bring you back like it did for me. Worth it.

This was my first time here because a friend invited me to play there. Pro shop staff was beyond friendly and got bright out. I really like that they have multiple practice greens and the driving range (although it’s a good bit away) is equipped with Toptracer technology which is a plus. Besides that…this was a horrible experience. Let’s start with the trash, yes literal trash EVERYWHERE! It looked like a dump. Trying to manuver through the empty beer cans and the goose poop in various stages of decay (which was a 1:1 ratio to the grass) was a lot. And back to the driving range. It’s right next to hole 10. There in s no fence/net separating the two. There were hundreds of ball all over the range. And the 10th fairway. They use Callaway balls on the range and I play chrome tour. It was impossible to find my tee shot.

Layout was good not a whole lot of narrow fairways with tons of undulating fairways and greens. I’m not sure I’ll be back.

Super good deal on golf now. Course is relatively well kept but it’s definitely worth what you’re paying. Very forgiving fairways. The back 9 is beautiful

This is a great course. Easy on the front 9 for beginners, tight tree lined back 9 that is more challenging. Value is great, staff is great. I play here all the time.

I chose a walking course...

Cart would be good too.

It wasn't done exceptionally well, but I was satisfied with the price. it's at DC.

I was really surprised with the golf course, the front nine is okay but when you get to the back nine wow, great shape and the scenery is incredible and most of all the price, definitely coming back.

On golf now there were plenty of unfilled tee times but when I got to the course it was PACKED. On the third hole there were 3 groups of 4 waiting on the tee box and this was the way the rest of the 9 was. After waiting 30 mins to tee off on hole three I skipped to the back. The starter did an awful job combining groups and letting people just tee off whenever. Not worth the money to sit out there in traffic all day. Go for it if you love 4 hour 9s

The course is too hard and too dry. You need to alter your watering habits so it’s more playable and less concrete dirt

Langston offers a friendly experience that embraces its history and culture. It may not be a top rated private country club but the people care and it’s showing more and more. There have been a few up grades and you can tell that if a few more dollars were poured in for actual cart paths… Langston would be a top rated spot to play so you could absorb culture

Fun course with a great history. While it was a fundamentally straight forward course, with very few opportunities to get into trouble, I really enjoyed playing here.

The staff has a way of making you very unhappy with bad experience's. Looks like they’re doing you a favor. .
