Langston Golf Course

This is a pretty nice course! Tons of practice areas. Range just down the rd from clubhouse. Course itself isn’t hard but it’s in good shape. There is no shot your getting food at the turn unless your waiting over 30 min. It’s made to order and no hot dog roller for a quick dog. They do have bagged snacks. I will definitely play there again. Do expect a long round . 5 hours is probably the norm.

Starting with checking in in the pro shop, found the staff to be incredibly friendly and knowledgeable who offered fantastic advice while giving an excellent history of the course itself. Having only gotten into the game recently, can’t believe I missed the opportunity to play this course when I used to live in Washington DC. You may find the courses at Haines point or rock Creek more aesthetically, pleasing, but the pace of play and the layout here were fantastic with a nice mix of challenges in the occasional straightforward three par hole. Looking forward to coming back and playing here again.

No active Marshall was present to keep pace of play. Alot of beginners learning mixed in.

I play here all the time. I love the course. The fairways are getting upgraded, the greens are some of the best in this area. Food at the club house is amazing.

This is the third time I played Langston in historic African-American golf course. The only complaint that I have is the signage where to go for a whole number 10 where is the tea box for whole number 11 etc.

this place is special - the History is palpable and I'm very happy such a place exists!

I was truly impressed by the condition of the course. Just a little TLC is needed in some of the fairway’s.

It's my favorite course in the Northern VA and DC for simple reasons: 1) Course is perfect for my game: challenging enough but not beyond difficult, it's easy to make tee time, the pace seems to be quick in the mornings, the food / grill is quite exceptional and the staff is friendly / kind, I like the trains that comes by the first and last tee box every few minutes. I like the historical photos on the wall in the club house. No frills -- just golf.

It's my first time here. I was lucky to get the early 7:00 am Tee Time on a Saturday morning. Our foursome finished in 3hours 59minutes. The course and greens were in great condition. The pace was obviously incredible. It was hot out even at the the early hours -- the course had cold water out for us. My highest rating is for the staff -- they exceptionally friendly. Next time, I will try their food in the kitchen. It's a small modest course it has everything I need for a round of golf.

I live in NE and Langston is the closest course. The investments made over the past year and half have transformed the course. Love it and the staff are the best.
