Love Langston
I live in NE and Langston is the closest course. The investments made over the past year and half have transformed the course. Love it and the staff are the best.
Great course, beat expectations!!
The course and the staff were great. Great day all around!!
My home course
I grew up at langston gc....first time at langston 1958...5 yrs old
Public golf at its finest
For less than $40 walking, there is no better deal.
Needs a lot of TLC!
First time playing here and unfortunately I probably won’t be back! The pro shop gentleman was super nice and gave me a quick history lesson before I went out, but that’s where the excitement stopped. Was so disappointed, I didn’t even stay to try to the food that I heard was so good. Some work on this course would really make this course feel like an actual DC staple. The greens were really nice, but the fairways were like someone’s unmaintained back yard! Half of the holes wasn’t numbered and the layout is pretty confusing, no real flow! And if you play callaway balls, you might want to change it up on hole #10 because it’s right beside the range and the range balls are callaway… good luck!
Pace of Play is Terrible on the Weekend
The course is great, the staff is great, the food is great…the only issue is the walkers on the course. The course is walkable however, walkers should not be allowed to walk on the weekends. There should be a better job managing the tee times for walkers. Pace of play is terrible
Great course, but…
I love this course. So much history and roots in the community. But the pace of play this past weekend was really bad. Luckily they let us just start on the back 9 which elevated some the wait.
First Time Out This Season
This is a legendary course in the DMV. The course was crowded and that’s what I expected for a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Even still the pace was good and surprisingly very few to no backups. Also, it was WALKING ONLY following a day of rain.
They absolutely have to improve the quality of the fairways.
And please post golf course etiquette because a young lady was hit in the head by an errant golf shot…and no one answered FORE!!!
Love this course
I play here all the time. A challenging course, friendly staff and great food. For a public course these are some of the best greens around. Fairways could use just a touch of love. Overall a great course. Plus for the money, you can’t beat it.
Love this course
For the price it's worth even though the front isn't on the best shape but the back 9 will make up for it and will bring you back like it did for me. Worth it.
