Not a bad place to practice your irons
Definitely not Augusta but overall not that bad of a place to play. Staff is great. Only real criticism is the tee boxes are rough but layout makes for some fun iron play. Nice relaxed place to play during the week.
Awful don’t waste your time
Bad course, worse pace of play I’ve ever dealt with.
Homey
Nice little neighborhood course, tight corners and small challenging greens. Not your competition course but a great day with the crew!
Challenging course
. First time here It was a challenging course., not a lot of room for error on several holes. Greens wee were ok, but too firm, hard to get the ball to stay on, Tee boxes are mostly all dirt, fairways were decent too.. Slow play, wasn’t invited to play through, but all play was slow I think. I would play again, now that i know what to expect on the layout
Not the best
The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were awesome. The rest of the experience was less than desired. This time of you you really can’t complain too much about course conditions but most of the greens were unputtable. As far as pace I f play, it was really rough. It seemed like it was an afterschool program for kids. We had a group of six young men in front of us and they knew very little about how to act on a course. Then, we had a group jump ahead of us after we already had to groups we were waiting on. They obviously didn’t know you shouldn’t do it. This place would have been awesome if I was a teenager but didn’t really enjoy Sunday.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The course was unique with aspects to each hole that challenged you.
Course was in really poor shape
I know that this is a bargain course but we have recently been playing a few of the cheaper courses around the area trying to sneak rounds in where we can and this was by far the worst course conditions we’ve seen this year. Most of the tee boxes were so scorched that we couldn’t get tees in the ground. Many had turf mats out on them. Most of the greens were 30-40% sand and very hard as well. I know it has been a dry summer but compared to other bargain courses in the area we were pretty disappointed with the shape of the course.
Fun course that is always getting better
I’ve played this course many times over the years and the last couple of years it has been the best I’ve seen it. The greens are in great shape, there are some new cart paths and the fairways have improved as well. The staff is very friendly and everything in the clubhouse is priced better than any other course. This is a very unique, tight winding course with small mounded greens and a layout that demands precise shots.
First time
I really liked the layout, was very different then most courses and that made it more fun to play. Its a bit of a drive for me but I will definitely play again.
Dirt Tee Boxes
When your tee box is 90% dirt on every tee box, might be time to put turf in at every hole, some fairways were worse than a cow pasture, some were carefully mowed and you could see lines in. The courses saving grace is the elevated holes and free condition. Barely any ball marks and freshly watered, very green but slow greens are their only saving grace. This course needs a lot of work to be worth the $34 (cart included).
