Short Game Gem
Played this course twice today. Nice to work on your short game.
Irons and Wedges
This is a great value for short/mid iron and wedge work. Greens needed some work but I’ve heard they have been good in the past and think it’ll just be a matter of time before they’re back for this season. Wouldn’t be surprised if a week or 2 from now they’re in good shape. Met the owner and he is very friendly, seems dedicated to making this a solid little 9 hole. Give it a shot. I’ll be back for sure. Definitely worth the money to get some work in here vs a similarly priced range bucket
Perfect Course For Beginners
For the price, I was not expecting much from this course. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it is a really nice course in the Tennessee countryside. I am new to golf and the short holes were perfect for practicing with irons and putting. You are not allowed to use woods or drivers because the holes are short, but that wasn’t an issue considering I just need basic short game practice for now. If you’re in the same position as me, or have kids learning to golf, this course is PERFECT for you. I also love the family group pricing. 3 family members and I went and played and had a great Saturday outing on the course.
hidden gem
Fun course and great course to work on your iron game ! No better value in golf!
Great for junior golfers!
Lightning Bug is a very short WALKING 9-hole course carved out of a farm that has been in the same family for generations! Designed for juniors to learn and have fun, holes are less than 150 yards with DEEP rough. Adults working on their irons can enjoy the course, too.
There's a small range and putting green. No clubhouse, concessions, or carts. This course is built and maintained by the family to promote local golf and give kids a place to play.
