Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills - Blue Course

Once the renovations are done it will be a great 9 hole course. Multiple shortened par 4s because of renovation. Hole 2, as of writing, has a temporary green.

overall we had a great time. the course is under some contruction (hole 2 on the blue course is very interesting to say the least). golf shop wasn't very friendly to someone who had never been there, but didn't impact our round.

The blue course is a fun 9 hole course to play. They have 1 hole under construction, it will be really nice when it is done.

Always a great option for a fun and challenging round of golf. Very conveniently located and friendly staff.

I’ve played here before and paying full price for 2 holes being surrounded my construction and basically putting into a bucket is pretty wild. No signs of directions, we drove around to find our hole for several minutes, waited in line for a wrong hole, and more.

The blue course is fun to play. It is great for newer golfers . The are found some work on a few of the holes. It is going to be really nice when it is finished.

Interesting old style golf course. There is some construction going on so there was at least one alternate green. Condition of the course was outstanding considering the drought we are in.

Nice to see reinvestment in the course. Hole two will be great once it’s done. New tee box on three is a welcome addition. Too bad the pace of play is hurt by beginners on the course.

The course is under construction, it will be great when completed.

I would not recommend playing the blue course right now. One hole has a giant dirt patch just off the fairway. A second hole a “green” that is just part of the fairway and has a giant hole not normal size. Really good year 2026 to skip this course.

We thought the construction would be done by now! Great 9 hole layout. Just a couple holes disturbed by course renovations. We always enjoy it here.

Showed up 30 minutes before my tee time to be told I’d have to wait 30 minutes after my tee time to tee off due to a tournament they had going on. I asked why I was able to book a tee time with a tournament goin on and I was shrugged at.

We ended up waiting over an hour after our tee time was supposed to set off and didn’t get to finish when we shouldn’t have had any problem finishing.

Came back the next weekend at 6am, am told I can only play through hole 5 and then I would need to turn back and come back to the club house AND WAIT FOR ANOTHER TOURNAMENT.

I cannot say just how awful the staff is in writing but this course genuinely has the worst staff and management in the state.

This place has just gone downhill. Play the par 3 but don’t waste your time here

Facilities were great. Arts worked well. Still going through some construction, but overall, great course.
