It rained!
Bought a Hot Deal , but it started to rain after two holes played. Could not continue, too wet. I guess I am out the money for the Hot Deal, as it states in the policy that once you check in the round is not refundable. Boo hoo! Will be more careful next time.
Very nice Course
Lovely course in the mts. Walkable front 9 but cart for back 9 as a LOT of up & down! Fun course with wonderful views in all directions and even some wildlife around... deer & muscrat!
Fun in Cedaredge
Confidence inspiring front nine. Challenging back nine.
Fun Course
Not too hard on the front nine, just engaging. The back nine is a different story...very challenging.
All That & More
2 completely different Nines give you all the golf experience you'd want. Front: flat(ish) with some water hazards and placement demands. Back: Get ready for a Wild Ride! Mountainside placement course with beautiful views.
Still recovering from drought, but worth playing
Cedaredge is one of Western Colorados great golf courses. An older parkland front nine and a challenging newer back nine.
Course and area had a severe drought a couple of years ago, no water for most of summer and lost a lot of grass. Good water this year and course is coming back.
Nice area and views. Greens a little slow and bare in sports, tees and fairways ok.
Really fun course!
The front nine is much different from the back. Some people may not even want to play the back if they struggle finding the fairway. I have played the course since I was a kid and it is really fun and brings back a lot of fond memories. Only complaints is the greens were a little firm and a couple on the back could use more water. But I loved it and will be back.
A very challenging back nine
A fairly typical front nine without the back-and-forth arrangement of older courses. Water hazards are a part of every hole on the front nine. The back nine climps up the hills and is very narrow. Some of the greens have a severe slope bringing 3-putts into play.
Challenging fairways
Course was alot of fun. The back nine was very challenging with very narrow fairways. You better hit it straight. Bring lots of extra balls because if your off the fairway you will not find it.
PGA players would find this course challenging
My yearly vacation takes me back to Colorado to golf with my brothers. I also go back to be tortured and humbled because the Cedaredge Golf Course does just that. The front nine is at least a fair test of golf, but the back nine is absolutely murder. Seven of the nine fairways are extremely narrow because they are carved into the side of the mountain. I'm talking 30 to 40 yards wide with no secondary rough. Every shot from tee to green must be accurate or you will find your ball in the sage brush and cactus if you're right of the fairway or rolling down the hill out of bounds if you hit it left. Secondary rough, what of it exists, is very narrow. Elevation on most holes on the back nine is extreme and blind shots are not unusual. Some of the greens are deceptive to read and putt. My suggestion: putt straight to the pin and you shouldn't be to far off.
Playing at 6,000 feet I think... awesome views
Super friendly staff when we got there and also when we completed our round. We played weekday about 1PM and the course was pretty much ours. Loved the wide fairways on the 1st nine. They were much more demanding on the back nine, but the views on the back nine were awesome. One par 5 on front was hard to figure out where to hit full or lay up shots. The greens were the best I've played in a long while, although several were plagued with brown areas
this course is highly recommended
I play other courses, but this has to be one of my favorites, the staff there are awesome the course has some challenges, but its in a good location, the trees make it better cause u can actually get some shade i would recommend this course to anyone...
Very fun
You will never find two 9's more different.
Very fun. Do not recommend the back when the Temp is over 90.
This has always been a great course to play
Friendly people, Beautiful scenery, Great golf course what more could you ask for?
These are the reasons I keep bringing my senior league friends from another golf course in Grand Junction to play at Cedaredge golf club.
