PGA players would find this course challenging
My yearly vacation takes me back to Colorado to golf with my brothers. I also go back to be tortured and humbled because the Cedaredge Golf Course does just that. The front nine is at least a fair test of golf, but the back nine is absolutely murder. Seven of the nine fairways are extremely narrow because they are carved into the side of the mountain. I'm talking 30 to 40 yards wide with no secondary rough. Every shot from tee to green must be accurate or you will find your ball in the sage brush and cactus if you're right of the fairway or rolling down the hill out of bounds if you hit it left. Secondary rough, what of it exists, is very narrow. Elevation on most holes on the back nine is extreme and blind shots are not unusual. Some of the greens are deceptive to read and putt. My suggestion: putt straight to the pin and you shouldn't be to far off.
Playing at 6,000 feet I think... awesome views
Super friendly staff when we got there and also when we completed our round. We played weekday about 1PM and the course was pretty much ours. Loved the wide fairways on the 1st nine. They were much more demanding on the back nine, but the views on the back nine were awesome. One par 5 on front was hard to figure out where to hit full or lay up shots. The greens were the best I've played in a long while, although several were plagued with brown areas
this course is highly recommended
I play other courses, but this has to be one of my favorites, the staff there are awesome the course has some challenges, but its in a good location, the trees make it better cause u can actually get some shade i would recommend this course to anyone...
Very fun
You will never find two 9's more different.
Very fun. Do not recommend the back when the Temp is over 90.
This has always been a great course to play
Friendly people, Beautiful scenery, Great golf course what more could you ask for?
These are the reasons I keep bringing my senior league friends from another golf course in Grand Junction to play at Cedaredge golf club.
