High time at Highland Hills
Considering my previous time at Highlands, a high of 50', this was perfect. It was in the low 80's and thought the course was in great shape! The greens were perfect! The greenskeeper is the best! Enjoy the challenge at Highland Hills - looking forward to my next round!
Leaves, Leaves
Course was in great condition from tee to greens; grasses full and green. Rough was tough, but not excessive. Biggest problem on this windy day was leaves. I know the course maintenance crew works hard to keep them off fairways and greens, but even a light wind causes ball finding challenges. Our group lost quite a few balls that should have been easy finds. Tried multiple colors of balls to help with coral color besting white or yellow for visibility. Just a fact of life in the fall!
First Time at HH
My first time at the course. I found the course to be in great condition with fast greens and moderate length rough. The course is an old style, tree lined, mostly straight style. The fairways are reasonably wide for higher handicap players. The greens had quite a few contours, some subtle, and pretty fast for me. Enjoyed the round paired with a course regular who knew the course well. I will return.
Great course
It was a good time playing but the group 3 ahead of us played super slow so it took almost 5 hours to play 18.
Good Course, Conditions weren’t bad but not very fun
Played this course in the fall so can’t complain and I do enjoy the layout of this course especially for the price but I don’t love the length of the rough. 6 inches off the fairway and out groin had to look for five minutes and be standing directly over the ball to find it a high not only effects the enjoyment of the course it also really hurts pace of play!
Highland Hills
First time playing… excellent course. Hopping restaurant. Good pace of place.
Good course/Tough pin placements
Not sure if the greenskeeper wanted revenge or something but many of the pins were on huge slopes or in the front corners, not very accessible from 180 plus out. It’s a nice muni course and is treelined which is tough to find in Colorado. I was impressed with the overall condition of the course, very well maintained.
August round
Excellent pace, friendly staff greens in tremendous condition

Peak season conditions…greens are excellent fairways are awesome and it’s a thousand degrees out everyday lol
