Meadows Golf Club

This course provides GPS - which you really need on a couple of their wacky holes. I played on Friday. also. The greens were a lot slower Friday and had a couple crazy pin positions (less than two paces from the left side of the green on a downhill). Apparently there were a number of the course workers playing to celebrate one of their friend’s last days. I am going to chalk the green’s slowness and the “illegal pin position” (which isn’t actually a rule) to someone messing with the group of employees.

The staff was great (especially Ainsley, Kaitlin and Bird)! Overall a great experience for a reasonable price. Nice practice area. I was a little shocked when I encountered a Bull Snake in the middle of the cart path on Number 8 but my playing partners chased it off and assured me that it was not a Rattler. Quite an experience both days. Had a threesome both days so we waited most holes but what do you expect on a busy weekend? I think we finished in around 4 hours both days so no complaints.

They let too many people play the back 9 in the morning and it backs up players. Grounds K

keepers with the buffalo blower followed us all morning.

For a public course it is first rate. Great value through Golf Now.

A beautiful 96 degree day. Course was in good shape and the cart gals were awesome.

Meadows is a good one for sure, normally not too much $$$ for a good place, course is very interesting and winds around with some very tricky holes in places but alternates with some easy ones to let you catch your breath.

Overall, a most enjoyable afternoon. The course was in very good condition with one major drawback - the bunker contents greatly inconsistent: mostly a mix of some sand in spots but, mostly wet dirt under a very thin sand topping.
